There is no conspiracy against you, its not all to hard, its not all bullshit, its not being pedantic. You claimed credit where it wasn't due and you were called out on it. Quite whinging mate, the situation was entirely of your making, so stop feeling sorry for yourself, get the chip off your shoulder and we can all move on. Don't try and pull that shit, its not about context, its not about whatever, you know exactly what you wrote and could at least accept that fact. Now that's just ironic. Some honesty from yourself in the first place and we'd never had an issue, in fact we would have appreciated your input as an ex-serving member. Feel free to hang around, many ex-serving member's are making excellent contributions and you could yet do the same. Whether or not you want to publicly admit that you acted like a tosser (without the little childish tantrum about having to make an apology) is up to you. You can leave the half arsed post that you made if you want, it just indicates to everyone that you aren't going to try and change your habits. I don't give shit really, you know you fucked up, if you want to make a clean start you can, or else you can slink away and sulk in the corner, up to you. Everyone else can accept a petty post if they want, thats up to them, I just want to see that your future actions are constructive and like I said, we'll get along fine in future. -

Don't claim to be things your not and we'll get along fine in future. I appreciate that you probably were told by DS that a LAW is all but useless, but the last time any of them studied the armour penetration or ballistic and explosive performance of the weapon systems they instruct you on was most likely, well, never. They know how to use it, but I'm willing to bet that very few have ever fired them at an armoured target in anger. Regurgitating the same garbage without evidence just helps idiocy to circulate. A LAW isn't as potent as a Jav or some such, but it doesn't mean its useless, it's literally 1/80th the price and 1/7th the weight. -

Vipersfang, the last heap of shit I read from you was you claiming to be in 4 RAR. As in commando. As in, you know precisely what the fuck I'm talking about. Could you please, just for once, shut the fuck up and stop spouting shit from your basic training courses that you've taken to be gospel. The internet does not want, nor care, about your vast collection of speculative wisdom relating to the capabilities of various weapons systems. -

Wrong mate, there are differences between the SR-98 and L96. Not particularly relevant to modelling said weapons though. -
I always liked this slow-motion film comparing an M16 and an AK47 firing (the AK47 flexes and bends like a...a...flexing bending thing): http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=G6BpI3xD6h0 Yes, I know it's technically an AK74 in the game (same old Kalashnikov rubbish though) ps. If you want to buy an AK here's your chance (joke film): http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=H_3BWv3FYg0 Firstly, that quote is just ignorant garbage, the bullet from the AK does not tumble, if it did it would be in breech of the Geneva Convention and Hague Convention as a form of Dum Dum round. The round is not meant to injure, the round is meant to kill at close to intermediate ranges, it really is as simple as that. If you were to make any argument you would have to say that 5.56 NATO is designed to injure rather than kill, but even that’s still stretching reality. The AK is accurate enough and very reliable. Calling it rubbish simply shows your arrogant belief in the superiority of western weapons. There are reasons the AK is the most common and most popular assault rifle in the world. It doesn't just come down to accuracy, but even then, the AK is far more accurate than most firers are capable of achieving, particularly under battle conditions and at common engagement ranges. The AK74 is a decidedly different animal to the AK47 anyway, this is mainly because it fires a significantly lighter round, being the 5.45x39mm as opposed to 7.62 short. Its ballistic properties are akin to, and quite comparable to, the apparently oh-so-great 5.56 NATO round. The design of the AK74 is actually better for applying rapid fire than most western rifles particularly due to its muzzle brake. It’s also considered to be significantly more robust and resistant to the elements. Both are capable of shooting in the 3-2 MOA range off the shelf. The main short coming of the AK design has always been its old fashioned sights. When you consider where and how most of the worlds AK47's are manufactured it’s a wonder that they fire at all, it truly is a credit to the design of the weapon that it works so well when manufactured so poorly. Don't believe our own propaganda mate, that’s a terrible mistake.

Gday mate, I hope you can consider the following to be constructive criticisms: 1) The Picatinny rail mounting for all those optics either has not been modelled at all or else the profile is WAY to low. You’re also missing the front sling swivel because of this and some other problems at the front of the receiver. 2) The flash suppressor is incorrect; we use one with multiple slots. 3) The receiver is also incorrect in the positioning of the cooling slots. 4) You've textured over the ejection port. 5) You're also missing the butt retaining pin and rear sling swivel. 6) You're missing the bayonet locking lug These are just the things that stood out, hopefully though they should be a reasonably easy fix for you mate since you won't have to alter the main body to much. Keep working at it! -

It's obviously a misspelling mate, no need to be a smart arse about it. Still waiting to hear from you regarding the 'serious errors in proportion and detail' of the SLR that SoldierX posted up... -
