  1. Aloha! I am currently working on an Airport- and Objectpack. Pictures can be found here. (Because of 6 picture limitation in this Forum) All doors/gates are functional. All buildings/objects have proper resolution lods. A complete List of what I've got so far: Planned: I'm trying to keep this airport pack as modular as possible, so you can build easily huge complexes.

    Buzzard in mid flight I know, it's not that high poly, but thats intended. Those birdies are still a really nice eye-candy when flying in 20m height. This video shows the Buzzard, Bald Eagle, Jay, Pigeon, Crow: Sadly in poor quality... So stick to the Images.

    Thanks! Well... actually a dragon was just a simple "Say so.." I've updated the bird-list. Technically it's a 40min job for each birdie, but sadly I need much time just to find some good pictures of the bird I want to create (the Pigeon took me 2 hours). And then it also takes some time making the texture. (Pictures of a Pigeon for e.g. were very hard to find, although it is one of the the most common birds, and the most useful in ArmA('s cities).) If anyone of you nice fellows has some good pictures of a flying Sun Conure / Lorikeet, let me know it! (Google is already plundered) I'll try to get some more birds ready today, maybe in the evening there'll be some nice "OMFG!!!! Invasion of the Killer Birds" ingame footage. (Newsposters: Wait until today's evening. ) I'm trying to get those birds quickly done, so I can continue with my buildings, they still need some textures. Mainly I did those birdies to get some variation in my work routines. Always creating buildings... it makes sick. Those birds are just like the seagulls. Flying around and looking good. Their intention is to be added in upcoming islands. Just like my other stuff I did for this (already 110Mb) Addon. Ah.. and by the way: Aloha!

    New birds are coming! I hope one can recognize the birdie above as a Pigeon. Animations are working. Planned Birds are so far: If you can think of more birds that should be created, let me know it! Thanks to all for your feedback. Some radardomes also wouldn't hurt, would they? And some Administrative Buildings are a really nice Idea. Maybe a small 2 story office. To Moderators/Admins: Would you be able to rename this Thread to "Island Objects/Buildings"? Thanks!   6. The problem with them is that they don't work for everyone. Some people see the Aimpoit dot or Eotech crosshair floating in mid-air in front of them, which is a bit of a cheat especially when crosshairs are disabled. IMO they still do their job well. They are still a bit further from the camera than the standard ArmA Aimpoint. Hi, I am using an ATI Radeon 3850HD, this bug appeared only when aiming an M14 SOPMOD wiht EoTech oder Aimpoint. I had this bug since the initial releas of those weapons. But fortunately the HK417/416 Weapons hadn't this bug. And, when checking after your reply, i noticed that the M14 SOPMODs still have the crosshair bug. Here a picture, and since I hadn't a current Newspaper that says "Ace 1.02 released" to verify this problem in the newses ACE version, I placed a SU37 with variable Numbers in that came with 1.02 :P ACE Mod destroyed the working ones and didn't fix the already destroyed. :/ Anyway, ACE is still a great Mod. Keep it up.
  7. I agree totally with Freshman. The parallax-free EOTech- and Aimpoint-Sights have proved livesaving in many, many many situations I've been in since playing with ACE. Why have all those sights been reduced to "Crayon Techâ„¢"? Simple glass plates with Red dots painted on it... It was working fine in 1.01. Also the new eyepoints are really nice when using an Ironsight. But for eg. when using an EOTech, you're definitively too near, which cuts your FOV massivley down.
  8. Hi, I made a simple addon which creates cartridges that stay where they belong. This Addon creates automatically a cartridge of the right type for all ArmA weapons and the following Mods/Weaponpacks: -6thSense Mod/Weaponpack -RHS -RH Pistolpack/AK-Pack -HWM -PedagneMOD -RER_XM109 -ChechenyaMod -ADO Armes -Vilas' Weaponpack -Frenchpoint -Turkish Forces Handgrenades will leave a pin on the ground. Grenadelaunchers will leave a 40mm cartridge. All other "unsupported" firearms will throw out a 556x45mm cartridge. Additionally I made helicopters prettier: The Ah-1 will drop 20mm cartridges on the ground, the Ah6 and Uh-60 do the same with 762x51mm cartridges. You can disable the cartridges with "NO_MBG_Cartridges = true", disable the vehicle cartridges with "NO_MBG_Vehicle_Cartridges = true". Download MBG_Cartridges.rar (528kb) Needed Addon: Extended Eventhandlers 1.7 Have fun turning the AO into a really dirty place!

    Grenada (OUF)

    Well... after some time two new pictures of the City of Santeurs. WIP of course. Grenada will still take some time, because I am the only one working on this project... So I'm going to finish Santeurs, fixing minor config bugs and the Layer-Texture, and then I'll turn this huge island into an Community-Project. Ill provide the Island as it is, with huge empy spaces and many.. many many unfinished cities. But, since the Mapfact 3DE has made Islandediting a lot easier, you can, if you want, build up a city, town, or random location, and then send the saved 3DE Project file to me, so can put this on the finished island and release a final-version of Grenada. I'll report in later...

Hi folks, NeoArmageddon and me are currently working on a mod called "Operation Urgent Fury" This Mod is based on the US-Invasion of Grenada in 1983 (Article on Wikipedia) This project is consists of two main parts: The first part is the Island of Grenada which we're trying to keep as authentical as possible. Since the real Grenada has a dimension of 27x14 km, we had to scale it down to 80% of its original size, but it's still a huge piece of land and it is not possible to drive around the whole island without refueling. By now we've already finished the main road net, and of course the island's terrain and satellitetexture. If we keep on working with this speed, the island will be finished in 4-5 weeks. But we still have to decide whether we release this island before we've finished the campaign or not.     We are back again, still with an ugly logo... However: Here we have a video of our lovely Grenada: http://files.filefront.com/Grenada....fo.html (You can also download it there and then watch it in High-Res at 840x524px) So far we've got a roadnet of approximately 60km which is still growing. Also some cities, towns and plantations are finished, but this Island is still far away from being finished. Of course lots of coustom objectas have been made (eg. ~60 different Roadname-sings.     That mission was really good. Although my team got thinned out after some time, I surely did some great boobietraps in the last few minutes. Unfortunately Mr. Ramon died by accident, I was so close to him... Anyway: I had a great bunch of fighters under my command, and HQ also did a very great job! Reserve me a slot for the next event.

    What about not installing this addon on the server? It's as simple as that. The cartridges are local. They're created only on the client's pc. The addon does not have to be in the server's addonfolder.

    This addon is clientside. The server doesn't require it, since the cartridges are created local on the client's PC. I asked Freshman whether the A10 is dropping out it's cartridges. He told me that the A10 is gathering those and is therefore not dropping them. In fact, I think the cartridge-drop of the AH-1 is already too much, but the Uh-60MG and Ah-6 are well "equipped" now, and now they leave a kind of "cartridge-carpet" behind. Try it out! i0n0s: Feel free to change this addon they way you like it, and it seems, that you may help me with making an update to this addon. Of course, if you like to!
