  1. Sort of off topic, but if you haven't played "M.Syd jr.'s Tales of the Realm of Ruun - The Tower of Rangit" for Oblivion, you have no idea what is possible to archive with the AI and the "Oblivion engine".

  2. That happened to many games.

Look what was planned for Crysis, and what was released.

Look at STALKER, in preview versions they showed to reporters you could drive vehicles, and in the final that and tons of other planned features where missing.

  3. I´m planning to build an new system, hopefully before this year ends. The only thing that is sure is, that i`ll use my "old" SATA drives and and new AM2+ Board.

From 2 core Athlons to 4 core Phenoms every CPU can be used, so it`s easy to build an system with at low cost that can be upgraded later to the latest quad core CPU.

Try to do that with Intel CPU`s. wink_o.gif

  4. Generally most graphics cards have at least two outputs (usually VGA and DVI, although its dual DVI on modern cards) And if it has two outputs, it will support two monitors at the same time. I'm sure you can dedicate one screen to TV, depends on your software (both for the TV and the graphics drivers).

I have one VGA and one DVI port, but could use two displays too.

But i`d rather go to one 42" LCD, if 1000 Euros for it where in my budget. confused_o.gif

For the near future i`ll stay very happy with my 32" LCD, other updates do have priority above this. whistle.gif

  5. Mr Tea -> Looking forward to it wink_o.gif

With the class names of the weapons, ammo, vehicles (all kind) and units, i could start to alter the scripts and ingame documentation of Evo SP. wink_o.gif

I don`t need the full mod to start working on it, i "only" need a final list with class names, that will not get changed anymore.

  6. I am having exactly the same problem. My spec is:

Intel Quad Core 6600, 4Gb RAM, 2xGeForce 8800 GTX in SLI config, VISTA 64.

The game is unpatched, from a British DVD (no add-on yet).

I tried the fix suggested, but it is still the same. Is there really a way to play the game in 64 bit? I am losing confidence... sad_o.gif

Why the hell don`t you try to patch ArmA to 1.14 and see what happens than? There is no point to run ArmA without the latest patch.

  7. It seems that you are on Vista, what handles a few things differently than XP or W2K.

Use the search function of Vista to locate any .pbo files on C:\ should point you to the used folder.

Edit: Run ArmA as an Admin, and don`t install it to where Vista want to have it at the setup procedure. That solves many issues that games have with Vista, or vice versa if you want. icon_rolleyes.gif

  8. That thing is not even capable to simulate shooting with an pistol, and will for sure not replace any controller.

It`s not even an nice try, just an attempt to make money of some kids that buy anything that will come out.
