The problem would be that nearly every newer units have gasmask bags, but only for eye candy. A working gasmask,that can be addet to every soldier like a weapon, is needed too. And how can we make sure, the AI respont to the gas bomb by putting on theire gas mask`s? If this don`t work, gas bombs will never be used by me.

Onboard soundcards using system resources that PCI soundcards does not. PCI souncards have theire own soundprozessor, onboard soundchips is using main prozessor.The same goes for the RAM. btw. Hardware T&L means Hardware Transform and Lightning. As the name says, it calculates transform and lightning effects in grafikhardware. If you disable this feature all the calculations must be done by the main prozessor. Framerate: 20..40 (Never knew wat this did, always kept this setting, plz tell me wat this does) You get higher detail if you set the framerate to a lower value. Yust play around with that and watch out for changes, they are not hard to find. One more tip: Double your RAM, it will make a difference.

You should by a sound card, and put it in your PC. Onboard soundcards are mostly like a hanbrake for games. When I was using my onbaord AC97 chip in big missions, the sound was off when I sprint, when I stand still, sound was back. I build in a cheap SB 128 card, and my soundproblems and performance lags was gone.

@ Necromancer- Thank`s for the info. I don`t get it. They changed the rules. I must have a license to have my gas- signal gun with me, when I go out. On the other hand, they allow us things that where forbidden before. Stupid beaurocrats.

Me think´s the most important thing to do right now is, make a backup of all data that you don`t want to loose. If the drive is a seagate, than you should download their disc wizard to test your drive.

Respect. The pilot of that C-130 must have been thousands of ours in flight. It´s hard to land a fighter airplane on a carrier, but this baby is much bigger and will not react as an small fighter airplane.

In real live it would be some sort of kamikaze mission that makes you want to "land" an an-124, or something big than that, on a carrier.

Im not sure wich interview it was, but someone from BIS sayd something like, soon after the release of OFP2 we will release tools to convert OFP addons, to work in OFP2. I hope this "projekt" is not canceled.

OH MAN. You are lucky. Im living in germany where it`s forbidden to have things that look like full auto weapons. It can be a toy, or a paper made model, doesn`t matter. If it looks like a full auto gun, you will get in big trouble if have it.

After upgrading my Computer from 512MB to 1024MB, OFP is running without the use of the -nomap parameter.I tested OFP with activated Mod`s (FDF, Y2K3, DXdll) and more than 1GB other Addons. Would the use of -nomap still benefit my Systems Performane ore will it decrease the Performance of mine and other Systems with more than 1GB RAM? Yes, I know that FDF and Y2k3 don`t work together, but if you call 1. FDF 2.Y2K3 you can use the FDF Islands and all changes made by Y2K3.

I think, it will work to land on the nimitz with the an-124. Never tested that, but when the wings of that an-124 are going through hangars without collision, it will be the same with the nimitz tower.

Nice machines. But I have one question about the used weapons. The torpedos are coc stuff, thats clear. Now I need info on that penguin missile, because I want to use them on other planes and choppers.

The FDF Island Al Maldajah has desert roads. Check that out. Maybe you can get permission to use them.
