What camoflauge fits Sahrani best?
Mr_Tea replied to j w's topic in ARMA - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Woodland and non Desert Marpat. The Desert Camo only fit`s to the Southern Part, and is totaly missplaced on the Northern Part of Sahrani. -
That is simply not right. My 512MB AGP8X videocard on an AGP8X mainboard can handle ArmA with high settings in 1280x1024, viewdistance 1200 meters. GeForce 7600GS 512 MB vram AthlonXP 3200+ (Barton) 2x512 MB PC3200 Ram in Dualchannel mode OS: Win2K Prof. SP3

A little readme inside the .rar file would be nice. Only a little info.

Leopard 2 A6. The newest uparmored version. edit: Someone correct me, if i`m wrong.

Maybe whe get an Apache from BIS via a patch, like the Apache for OFP was introduced in patch 1.2. I don`t heard if that is planned, but it`s still possible.
-
What videocard is that? Onboard or AGP, and how much memory does it have?
-
If Codemasters release a good Flashpoint 2, i will buy it too. I have ArmA, and will buy every expansion that will be released for Arma. Doesn`t matter if i`ve bought OFP2 or not.

Take the Free Download Manager. Works perfect with Firefox, and IE too.

With my G7 all keys work as they should. What never worked propperly are the game profiles. I programm the keys before i start a game, works for every game.
-
That camo fit`s much better into the nothern terrain.

I´m happy to got ArmA this year, not sometime 1Q 2007. That there are bugs in the initial released version was shure before. Whe will get patches, all what`s missing is some official word from BIS. What makes hope is, that there is every day someone from BIS browsing the forum.

How do i make soldiers eject from a helicopter?
Mr_Tea replied to rullstolskalas's topic in ARMA - MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Work with two triggers. Havn`t tested any of "my" OFP scripts in ArmA until now, but it should work. -
Noo, don`t set the fan to always on. That would make the fan running @medium rpm, and will not allow the fan to work faster if required. When you click on the help logo in the nvidia drivers, and than to the box "Fan always on" or whatever it`s named in english, you will get that explanation. So it is not an good idea to turn that feature on, to prevent overheating of the videocard.

how many FPS? 30? 40? how many of ram? your processor? what is your OS? a 7600GS with 512MB can run correctly the game? FPS: ~30 (I don`t use a framecounter) Ram:2x512MB PC3200 @dualchannel CPU:AthlonXP 3200+ (Barton with 400Mhz FSB) OS :Win2K Prof. with SP3 Why should the 7600GS with 512MB vram have problems with ArmA?
-
Would run very good with 512MB videoram.
-
Here are my results: ArmA-Mark results btw. AthlonXP 3200+, 2x512MB Ram@Dualchannel, GeForce 7600GS 512MB.
-
The problem is, that the sripts works very well in the situation and place they are made for. But too fast whe would run into problems.
-
I`m still playing with an single core processor, but it would be nice and effectiv if the AI could be handed over to the other core. My next system will be atleast dual core, but time works for me and it can be a quad core system too.

And with a few Patches, and one or two expansions we will have the perfect game. Not to forget the community made addons and mods. The same way OFP\Res was the perfect game, until ArmA arrived. In OFP 1.0 whe didn`t had the Apache, for example. When i compare Arma 1.01 and OFP 1.0, than Arma is way better. Arma is great. There are bugs left to fix, but think of what ArmA can be in a few month, or a year.

Yes, and there are one or two SF 4 man troops more, that are engaging that village from different directions.

I think it is on Google Earth, or atleast it was.
