I have a little question, since I'm (as some might know) working on a desert reskin for many of the bluefor vehicles, I have a bit of a question. In some pics, and in old reskins for OFP, there has been this "upside down V"-symbol on the side of HMMWVs, M113s and M1A1s etc. What does that symbol mean? and is it still being used? Also, has anyone got any good pics that shows where exactly on the vehicle it is painted?

Yeah, I think I'll do that, if I manage to get it working later I might release it as a standalone or include it in an updated pack or something.

Well, yeah, I'm pretty sure, what you see is what I changed :/ wich seems a bit weird if 34 is the maximun, since, like you said, BIS used 35 in this model. Dang.

Well, I'm trying to hex edit the m1030.p3d to change it's texture path for the main texture. I changed it from ca\wheeled3\M1030\DATA\m1030_co.paa to McN_veh\texturesbikeee\m1030_co.paa And I get this freaky error message when I try to start a mission using the bike (it's not a config error, since it works well with an unaltered model): Anyone knows what's wrong?

Yeah, I thought about that V-thingy myself, but I'm not sure, most pics I've found seems to be without them :/ Also, I'm having trouble implementing the bike as you can see here. Do you guys prefer that I wait until I manage to get it working, or that I should release the pack without it?

The new path for the texture must have the exact same number of characters as the original Well, it is, 35 characters for both of them :/ (it just doesn't look that way here because of the capital letters)

Well, Soul Catcher who made the original config is already working on the new one so it'll be out pretty soon I reckon. Also, I think Vilas made some nice Opfor desert-vehicles.

Woah, this feels abit like in school when I always finished my tests first but didn't dare to hand them in because everyone would think that I'm just lazy. But yeah, I've finished all the textures now Just waiting for a config etc. Soon you'll probably have desert versions of: M113 (and ambulance) Vulcan M1A1 5 T trucks (open, closed, m2, repair, ammo, fuel) And also a bit of an updated version of the HMMWVs (I noticed the hood seems a bit to bright compared to the rest). Sounds good not?

I've had a little chat with Soul Catcher about configs, and you can probably expect desert retextures of the 5T-trucks, the M1A1 and the M113 to be released.

Possibly right now I'm thinking of doing desert 5t-trucks, after that I might do a desert M1A1, and maybe the M113s too.

EDIT: RELEASED! That's right, it's done, check the topic in the complete-forum. click here for the topic (that means "nevermind the rest of this post") Well, I was bored, and as usual, that ends up with me doing something a wee bit creative, this time, I ended up doing a retexture of the BIS hmmwv, into desert-color I'm not a good texturer at all, so there's probably plenty of faults in it etc. I don't have time to check it out in detail though, and also, I don't have any time, nor knowledge to make a config for the bugger. Therefore, I need someone to cooperate with me and make a config for it, that is if anyone wants to have it, right now I've only overwritten the original textures. The .rvmat files etc. aren't changed, just the basic textures. Here are some screens: From above From the side From within From the front From the back So, is anyone up for the task?

where is the OFP addon diversity?

like people have already said, I'm sure there will be a huge diversety of addons eventually, Ofp's addon community didn't get really big until Resistance was released, I'm with you on this one though, I want lots of different stuff for missions, I mostly just make missions for myself anyway. -

If your'e using the Predators Modern Warfare sound-mod that could be the problem, that mod disables all the other addons when you play with it.

Don't think there is one, haven't seen one anywhere anyway. But yeah, it would be good to use in the dry saralite-island, desert reskins of the 5t-truck and the Strykers etc. would be nice too.

I think that the soundmod disables all other addons :/ unfortunatly.

Yeah, it's a fun idea, and would be pretty easy to do, I doubt any modding will be needed, unless you want to make choppers with different decals etc.

Nice to Read, Awaiting your release, can't wait to play on it Right now I'm just waiting for an updated config from Ocramweb, and then I'll just test it a bit and try to eliminate any annoying bugs that might pop up (probably/hopefully won't though). Ocramweb seems a little busy though, so I don't know when it'll be. Edit: Spoke to Ocramweb, he might have the new config sometime after tuesday stay tuned.

oh, sorry, I looked for it in the readme, but couldn't find it, I guess I'm tired, or blind, or both. But thanks Will enjoy the rest of the missions now.

Thanks I'll try it. Edit: Nope, didn't work :/ already had it too. Edit again: I've checked the mission.sqm file, what's "G85_Editor"? I don't recognize it, and where can I get it?
