  1. Ive done 113 hours overtime in the past 2 weeks so you can guess how much work ive done on them... Rabbits just correcting a few errors with models/textures then Ive just got to sort out the config and get a (hopefully) final beta out and about.

    Well im back to work tomorrow so the rebels are now in the very capable hands of Rabbit (he picked up on the finer points of texturing in o2 pretty quickly ). He's just sorting out the civie legs and a few other things, then I just need to correct my config before release

    Aye, having to replace the voice.pbo with OFPs to get the bloody AI to work was a bit of a pisser Until BatDev! gets some decent terrain out I'll be playing OFP.

    How about having an ammo crate we can load up with mags, rifles etc. just so I can take a SVD and have something better for FIBUA when I realise Mr Rebel Leader decides to hide in a buidling

    All models in 1.1 have the shemagh on, 1.2 will bring you a nice new target to take out though. New Models (civies still need new leg textures)

Must be in the old thread then but as you pointed out Afganistan isnt in the middle east so luckily I dont have to worry (if you asked me to find it on a map I wouldnt have a clue to tell the truth ) Im just trying to point out im trying to make this from a mission editors point of view, this way it hopefully it wont be another 'play for two seconds in the editor then never look at it again' addon. Im just making it up as I go along
  21. You mean like this guy? As this has changed to Generic Middle East Rebels (no longer just afgans) Im just using my imagenation and coming up with things. Im not aiming for uber realism, just aiming for a usable middle eastern themed addon for mission editors to use in whatever they need.

  24. I was actually thinking about adding them to the east or west side so you can use them against other resitance side addons. Im trying to keep mission editing in mind as I go, no point in a nice shiney addon nobody can use. I once had a lovely campaign planned out using CSLA-II and Edges Retextured Guerilla's, only problem was they were both on the resistance side and I could find anything the same quality to use instead.
