Well they havent got a choice have they
-
Aye, we've already got a few US SF blokes, Blackbloods done some pretty fooking good desert SAS and we've got SASR. Go for something that hasnt been done to make your addon original, it will probably see more use then
-
RAAB still down to MP test? Im sure you could blag the ops team into doing some missions for it then
-
Drive level with the blokes, just off the side of the track. I was done before I got out the other end of the tunnel

UKF weapons rar'd = 5.86mb To somebody on 56k that could mean an extra 20-30 minutes of download time. Only recently upgrading from 56k I know how they feel so I made the simple suggestion of 2 packs... 1 with the ukf weapons for those who dont have the DPM Troop pack, 1 without for the people who already have them. Rocket science at its best
-
Maybe you should release two versions, 1 with ukf weapons 1 without so people who already have them dont have to download them again?
-
I may do as you suggested and release GMER 1.2 RC (although it will probably be an updated version of the one you have, that stuff was probably all updated the day after you got it). The only thing is it wont do what Rabbits been working on any justice.

Pics of the bergen are on page 10
-
Again... I'll either have to ask Rabbit what the status is or he'll come post it here. Hopefully you'll know whether or not to bother reverting to the old version today. The final result will be much better than what I planned to release anyway. Rabbits a far better modeller than me, shame he cant write a config for shit
-
I second that and we only had an early beta. You've some how managed to make this pack even better, its just a shame the random gear scripts arent MP compatible (did I send you my suggestion to get around this in the end?).
-
If you mean your still getting default BIS units its because these do not replace the current units but add additional units to the game for people to make new missions with. You can find them under 'West - UKF British Infantry' in the mission editor.
-
I've decided to release the <s>final</s> latest version of the Generic Middle East Rebels. The update includes the following: ECP compitability + new face script Medic defined as soldier (extra mag slots) Missing texture fixed Slight model corrections Due to quite a few bugs with the models there will not be anymore units added and this project will not be updated by myself again. I'd like to thank Killswitch for the ECP compitability + new face script. Download (3.61MB)
-
Implementing bug fixes into other units. Not sure how far along Rabbit is with this though. Then its just the config and 'final' beta testing.
-
Weapons can always be added via the mission editor, I prefer addon requirements to be kept to a minimum. To be honest most of you requesting for this and that to be added would probably put them in the mission editor, play for 10 minutes and never look back. Im sure mission editors, squads etc. who are going to be using these on a daily basis will want the required addons kept down.
-
The Para's and Marines will use P-UKF's weapons, the SAS will probably use whatever Blackblood wants to give them from Jam2.
-
He should be using JAM2 (BIS models, different config) which is required to use the UKF weapons anyway.
-
Thought there were scripting issues with fixed wing aircraft? Might be a different mission. I think using that would require use of a decent steerable parachute though, to stop the old problem of floating into the middle of the objective
-
I think avoid using the BAS Chinook. Best available UK chinook
-
Army Air Corps You'd probably be better off using the BIS Chinook, there's an RAF version about but its shite and not worth the extra download.
-
Well, I was way off...
-
Bleed 1.0 does include Para's and SAS and I believe Blackblood mentioned he'd done some Marines. I'll one now, he seems to have buggered off though so it might take a while to get an answer. Edit: Marines...
-
It will probably depend on which unit you deploy. I believe the Para's use it (as its used by the AAC), the SAS would probably use whatevers over there at the time of thier deployment and the Royal Marines would probably use something along the lines of a Seaking/Chinook. As far as I know the Navy dont have an Lynxs. This is all going from whats in my mind, havent checked up on it yet. I can ask an advisor over at RAAB if you want?
-
Now BBs dessie grunts look like they're almost done, how about a UK conversion?
-
About time, Ive been looking forward to these for god knows how long
-
Rabbits fixed all he can, just needs to apply it to the rest of the models. We'll shorted the beta testing period to a 2-4 days and if nothings found it'll get released Ive got OFPCentral back up so hosting isnt a problem anymore either. If bugs are found, revert to 1.1 and do the 1.25 beta...
