When it comes to patch support Valve are probally the best, then i would say bis. But EA do support there games to a certain degree.

No its not that he does not get a Bronze Star but the fact that his unit has been tarnished by the acts of a few of its members and that those who deserved a commendation for the there service will not be recognised for it. okay so its hundreds now, good, now that we have that sorted we can move on. Source please? where have you seen that the formation of man pyramids have bee given a go ahead by the high officials such as senators and Military Planners? So your saying that in mission briefings given to ground troops the use of torture was allowed? IIRC all Reports by the ICRC are confidential, they do not talk about the specifics of any case so they remain independant, yes this abuse was happening back in spring last year, but IIRC they have been/being dealt with, it takes time to investigate claims such as these. Erm im pretty sure all those in the pictures where detained and the situation in the prison was investigated, you cannot complete an investigation in a day. He as already stated that the buck stopped with him, also Cheney has no option but to back him up, they are in the same party, thats how politics works. Please tell me where it says that this abuse was given the go ahead by the Military planners and high up senators? Manipulation happens in every country by there politicians, mine yours, the USA it does not matter what country.

IIRC the t72's used by iraq in the 1st GW where cheap iraqi knockoff's.

no hes trying to point out that not every MP in the 800th is one of the scumbags who were doing thiws sort of thing, yea i do feel sorry for that person who has probally put alot into his job but because of a few will be tarnished, also you cannot compare what happeend in WWII to whats happened/Happenning in GWII

Can you stand up and shoot the blowpipe?
-
Yes because every game has to be uber realistic , o and Vanilla Flashpoint has some inconsistencies. The point is, the designers didn't do much research beyond the game code and player models. Some of the things left out of Bf1942 could have seriously affected the side you choose. Like the Red Army having a Ppsh 41 with the full 71 round mag would kinda make a difference or the Enfields having their full 10 round capacity, or semi-auto M1s. why should they? the game was never supposed to historically accurate also im sure all greivences where solved in the addons.

do i have to get the javelin hotfix if i have Sucheys Marines? also what is "Raedor's Cargo scripts"?

one thing that does interest me is the relation of the size of the MP map with the amount of players in the server, so if there is only 5 ppl on the server the map will be a size that suits that 5 ppl, but as more join the map gets larger. also the world ranking system is interesting.

hope so, Edge's Res Gurillas need to see the sharp end of these beasts.

Sadr's gang seem to be less militarily competent than the resistance fighters that the US went up against in Fallujah. They do however hold one significant advantage: Najaf being a holy city. US commanders have vowed not to plow through the city and specifically that they would not be attacking any of the many holy shrines in the city. I think that you can guess how this will be exploited. Without a mandate to fire back at resistance fighters hiding in shrines and mosques, there can be no victory. On the other hand any destruction (by US troops) of religious buildings could result in a confrontation with the mainstream Shia factions. Given Fallujah and the prisoner abuse, I don't think that the US can afford stepping anybody on the toes. So I don't know, but the situation seems pretty futile in Najaf. Just wait till the British Arrive and take over Najaf, i'm sure we will be able to defuse the situation by talking it over with Sadr with a nice cup of Tea and hobnobs.

Nobody, Really. You know MLF, I don't expect you to remeber all things that you say and much less of you to be consistent in all that you say. But really, your memory should span longer than four posts. 32 minutes ago. I congratulate you on having the crappiest short-term memory that I've ever seen on this board. I'll just repost from my previous post: The US intervention in Vietnam had the goal of preventing the spread of communism in South-East Asia. When they returned the troops to the US, South Vietnam was lost to the communist North: Mission Failed. Losses have nothing to do with it. The Russians lost how many millions in WW2? Would you say that they didn't win against the Germans? No sorry i worded it wrong, I realise that in simnple terms the North won and the US are no longer in vietnam, I was merely pointing out that all sides lost alot, NV lost alot of men, US lost alot of credibility and young men, SV lost alot of its freedoms in that it did not want to become a communist. sorry denoir if i dont make things clear i have a fever atthe moment, my glands are double the size of golfballs so my throat is extremely painful and im extremely drousy atm. also i was commenting on the individual man when saying "He may have not won the battles but he won the war." i was commenting on the whole war with "the nobody really won" comment.

Offtopic? The topic is Vietnam and specifically Giap's adventures. no denoir the topic of this thread is Dien bien phu 1954-2004 : 50 years anniversary also im not disputing that the Americans did not win the Vietnam war.
-
So will you be releasing the Bradley or are you still waiting for permission?
-
Nobody, The North lost 3 + Million people and the US pulled out because of Varying factors, such as the Generals having there hands tied behind there back, public pressure etc etc they also lost alot of young men from that generation. i don't really see it as one lot won the otheres lost

Quicksand, the mirro basically said that any story the soldiers told would be worthless without pictures, the clarity of the pictures, discrepencies with the scene in which was taken, the fact that it used B&W film, these al lend to the answer that it was staged either for the money that the mirror undoubtable paid them or to re-create a scene that happened, sounds to me like a bunch of Disgrountaled TA to me being pissed of with being posted abroad. Also on the note of the NFL player, they covered him joining up because he felt that what he was doing was not worth alot along with his families proud military history he felt he wanted to add his bit into the effort of the war on terrorism, of course if he is then shot in action and killed then of course there gonna cover it because people saw the news of him joining up. not that hes worth any more than the guy who saved his buddies, but they were both doing there job.

ok denoir if you continue to go offtopic then plz can we have a map comparing the position of troops at the start of the Vietnam war and a map of the troop positions before the withdrawl (not at the time of the pull out).
