But better to presume innocence first

If it is genuine, then it sounds like an interesting idea, though some of the weapons pictures (ie. the AK47s) might need a bit of cropping to get rid of the white around the edges...nothing major, just makes it look better </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">Thats a good one Oberon hehe, seriously I cant stand when people try to hoax their way into a community, that is not community spirit .<span id='postcolor'> Same here. If it is a hoax, they're going to fall flat on their arse sooner or later -> no respect

So are you saying someone has accused you of using their UH-1D/UH-1H model as a Bell 212 and claiming it as your own? Perhaps you could post pictures of both models to clarify your position... PS. these things are often best resolved privately, rather than in a public forum. If you didn't plagiarise this guy's work (and let's hope you didn't ), it's best to try and convince him in private. The rest of us could be wrong PPS. the image you have hosted @ imgstudio.com isn't very clear, and I don't think any third party could make a proper comparison....do you have a clearer picture?

I'm only DL it now. But if it is our stolen model...<span id='postcolor'> If it is, you probably wouldn't have a hard time making better textures - the green just looks a little too bright IMO... The rotor-blades tilting up when in flight & down when stationary was one of the small realism issues I miss in OFP, so I'll be very happy if this adddon has overcome that

Akira is right - more often than not, military personnel (Air Force personnel in particular, as they are rather more distant) tend - at least try - to dissassociate their actions with killing other people. This would make their job a lot easier to do and to justify. Some of the younger soldiers would have probably been largely desensitised to violence, and seeing something destroyed (particularly on video screen) wouldn't be too far removed from another movie. The pilot's were more than likely excited (or whatever they were, I didn't see the movie) because they had achieved their objective which they had been tasked, not because they had knocked off half a dozen other humans. I completely agree that people on these forums should have known better - they knew what they were watching, and should understand that nothing in war is 'awesome'. DarkLight is right when he said that the equipment in full-swing might be an impressive sight, but it's results are far from it.

That battleship game is triffic If you're looking for some more timewasting games, try http://www.flasharcade.com - some are pretty crappy, but some are ridiciulously addictive...

I'm pretty sure it's set before too... Jack Ryan becomes President while Chavez & Clarke are in Rainbow, and Chavez is in the Marines while Ryan is in the CIA... Grey Fox is right - Chavez enters the CIA from the Marines, then into Rainbow... Oh, and Clarke/Chavez/Ryan didn't know each other in Clear and Present Danger, while Chavez is Clarke's son-in-law in R6

Yes, good idea As I said before, BIS may not want to do anything too major, like create new animations for animals, as they probably want to (if they aren't already) start work on a sequel. Who knows, maybe OFP:2 will have animals But there is a program that has been/is going to be released that will allow users to edit/create new animations, which will allow us (hopefully) to create animals, among other things... Check out this thread: http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=24051 If we have the tools, then it's a job for the community I would have thought someone would have done something clever with the seagulls though......maybe it's too hard...

The ADF Mod has released a great little addon containing two versions of the Browning Hi-Power pistol (standard & Mk.3)... You can grab them here...

Most of these people are adults, have shot real guns and unlike me don't bother writing on boards or spend time on analyzing OFP game play.<span id='postcolor'> It's common commerical sense that BIS wouldn't change things unless there is a proper reason to (ie. an large and obvious proportion of the community expressing concerns). If BIS makes a sequal to OFP, they want to finish their work with the original with as many happy players as they can afford to so that OFP:2 will attract as many people as possible...changing something (an important feature at that) that the majority of OFP players don't want changed is bad medicine How do you know what % of players are unhappy with the accuracy of weapons? If they were really unhappy with the situation, don't you think they would bother to express their problems on message boards etc.? I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with you, but I'm saying that BIS would/should only consider changing this if they believe it will be accepted warmly by most players....

Good work here mailman, I've been waiting for some better/re-textured AK-47s/74s and an actual AKS-74U </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">His SVU-A is not very accuracy, why? There was a post about this some time ago, and some people believe that the thing on the front was intented to be a cannon but was never fully implemented or removed (the Mi-17 can mount a 23mm cannon AFAIK), while some people thought it was a sensor of some variety (ie. air speed indicator)... BIS is prob the only ppl who can answer this....

Don't quote me...it's just my oppinion.<span id='postcolor'> Too right - BF1942 is a good game, but its a different game, for a different mood Oops, just realised I quoted you @acecube: I don't think it will be on top of BIS' list of priorities if only a few people want it changed. Remember, there's a whole crapload of people who play OFP out there (and yes, some do want to see things changed), and if most people wanted this changed, it probably would've happened a long while ago, considering how long OFP has been out. BIS wouldn't risk pissing off the many to please the few

Since Netscape has died in the arse (having been bought out by AOL, it's not surprising) I recommend giving Mozilla a shot as an alternative to IE, if you can be bothered d/l it. If the links to the patches at Codemasters (or BIS, whichever it is) don't work, you can get them at other sites.

If you knock out the attendants and nick off with the VBS1 CD, I will personally pay your bail - assuming of course you manage to get the CD to a safehouse Just kidding of course, but if someone goes along for a look, tell us what you think.

Well as long as you're laughing with me, and not at me For one of my history units at uni we had to watch some movies, but unfortunately they aren't along the lines of Red Dawn If only someone would make a Kung-Fu / Action movie where the bad guy was Hitler
