spectacular addon ofcourse but I do wish we could get some kind of organized decision on what shade of desert camo to use. this shade doesnt match ones used on another M1a1 pack and those dont match another etc etc... Not really a big issue it just makes em look kind of funny when your trying to use addons created by different people. Still a great job on these guys

Hey guys I got a real problem here. Ever since I installed 1.14 I get big lag spells wich bring my game to its knees. I can load up a mission in the editor and get about 2 minutes or so of game time before it starts lagging really bad out of know where. I have updated all my drivers and it does this with no Mods/Addons Please throw some ideas my way to help me trouble shoot this. I tried changing my Invidia setting to Balanced as it was on quality but I still get the lag. I am at a loss with this Maybe I should format and reinstall everything... Think this could solve my problem?

Update to my post above... I did need to get the latest driver for my Geforce but after installing, I still got the Lag spells. Its wierd because its not normal lag. It comes after running the game for a few minutes and sticks around for about 2-5 minutes then all the sudden gets completely fine for a few more minutes. repeats like this indefinitly. I added the "-maxmem=1024" but it didnt seem to help. I am gonna try to update my audigy driver since I havent in a while and see if that helps...

After installing the patch I get Lag spells in game really bad. It comes and goes at random. Im running: Athlon64 2.0GHZ 2gig of ram Geforce 7600 GS 512mb Windows XP SP2 SB Audigy 2 sound card

Installing "Durg's Vegetation Fix" FOR DUMMIES (like Me) 1. Extract all files from the .RAR to your ARMA folder. 2. Run the "Durgs_Vegetation_Fix.bat" file located in the "ARMA\Durgs Vegetation Fix\tools" folder. 3. Standby while the .bat does its work it will shut down on its own. 4. Dont forget to create a new shortcut with the "-mod=@DurgsVegetationFix" in the target box under shortcut properties. READ ON TO INSTALL LowPlants... 5. Run the LowPlants setup file and when it gets to the part asking for the location of your ARMA folder point it to this: "Your drive letter here:\ArmA\@DurgsVegetationFix" 6. Copy the 2 PBO's located in "ArmA\@DurgsVegetationFix\LowPLants\addons" folder to "ArmA\@DurgsVegetationFix\addons" 7. Delete the LowPLants Folder from @DurgsVegetationFix folder READ ON IF YOU DONT OWN Queens Gambit... 8. Extract the "Sara_grass.pbo" 9. Open the config and find this line: "Required Addons" then delete the first instance (db1 something) 10. Save the Config and re-pack the PBO with same name as before (Sara_grass.pbo) NOTE: A non QG version of Lowplants is out now so u could also just install that one. Thats pretty much it. After all that you can rename the Mod Folder to whatever and add all your fav addons back into the new folder weeee... Hope this helps someone ,Meat

hmm this isnt working for me... I set myself up in the editor behind some bush and set 3 AI on the other side and got shot up thru the bush right away. My install: I copied the mod folder into ARMA Ran the .bat Cut/Pasted the new Plants.pbo into my "modern" mod folder. Note:(Lowplants was already installed in this folder) So I am assuming I did something wrong somewhere so can anyone tell me the right way to get it running in MY mod folder instead of its own? thx in advance, Meat EDIT*** Ok I redid it like the instructions exactly and just copyed all the other addons I want in my mod over to this new one and renamed the folder back to "Modern" Now I dont understand the last part about copying the 2 pbo's from the loplants folder into the Durg's one. If I overwrite the Plants.pbo wont that mess up all the changes that the vegetation fix just made to this same pbo???

Im thinking of buying this card for ARMA: EVGA GeForce 7600 GS / 512MB GDDR2 / SLI / PCI Express Maybe even 2 so i can run Duel. I was just wanting some feed back if anyone has had any bad experiences with this card while running ARMA or if anyone has heard any RED Flags about em in general. WHats the command to get a group/unit to move to the next waypoint? The problem Im having is I have a group arrive at a WP and a cutscene is started using the WP "on Activation" box. After the Cutscene finishes everyone starts to move then all the sudden the cutscene starts all over again instead of the group moving to the next WP. UPDATE: It works fine without my big mess of helicopter scripting I got going on. I took out all that stuff that had to do with the insertion and dropped in some invis helo pads and changed everything to the drab transportunload/getout Waypoints now it works fine. I guess its no big loss because helo insertion got all messed up as the overall troop count went up. Sucks too, watching the choppers coming in and hanging there a foot off the ground while the troops jumped out looked way cooler Im thinking of redoing it in an intro on its own though might work good that way.

ahh thx. Silly me what is the command line for moving to a waypoint by the way? BAH its still doing it Seems to be stuck repeating the waypoint with the cutscene in it. Any other ideas? Also Everyone right a description of what your going to do to get your hands on a copy of ARMA and how your going to do it. Heres my personal plan: My wife hates games. Hates when I spend time on the computer. Ofcourse with her being pregnant this hatred is amplified by like 1000 or so. So the problem is how do I get a copy of ARMA when I am going throughall of this: a job change, got a kid on the way, paying for christmas, paying taxes, I still owe my wife a diamond ring, Oh and ofcourse I may need a computer upgrade to make ARMA run good. So now I have to spend money on Christmas then take the money I get from our families on Christmas and use it to pay for all the crap well need for the baby (wich is due in Jan.) Then we have to take our tax money and use it to pay my taxes from last year, as well as catch up on bills while I was in training for my new job. OOH and lets not forget the damn ring So after I do that and mange to pull a rabbit out of my arse IM going to need to secretly open a new bank account and skim money off the top of my paychecks to put back for computer upgrades and my ARMA purchase. The computer will need to be secretly upgraded in my present tower as to not alert the Wife. HAHAHAHA shoot me now SO thats what Im looking at these next few months what about everyone else?? ,Bored and ARMAless in Kentucky

This is all kinda silly but if I was gonna wanna see anything this close to ARMA and I mean ANYTHING it would have to be some nice BMP's its the only think we dont have besides the MOD ones Ofcourse while everyone is playing around with ARMA, us less fortunate ones in the U.S. will still be sitting around playing good old OFP. You can usually find alot of good clips on old nam sites. Most the time it works for modern missions pretty good.
