Silly me only now noticed you don't have a bin folder. Obviously you have installed the open beta 11-03-05? The last patch you got is only for that, the first beta release didn't have the bin folder, I think... so where is that now?

The Lord, looks like you have an mpmissions folder in \x_vte while any such shouldn't exist. If it contains files from VTE_missions folder the installer naturally can't find those misplaced files. all vte missions should be in missions\VTE_missions. Hard to believe you missed that in the readme Â

It is indeed the geo lod that the AI wont want to fire through. You can observe it's effectiveness in the trench bases I made for VTE, AI wont even shoot into the smallest fortresses and only when you stand up do they shoot at you in the higher one. There's another drawback with the geolod in this case: AI wont walk even close to it. Forget being overrun, sigh. The strange thing with Unsung FB objects are that they seem to have very fine view geo lods. When I walk to a corner in a fortress on the edge of a the base so that I see nothing else but the corner, my fps jumps up to great numbers. That is, from 9 to 36 or the likes, me likey So for all I know that's what view geo is for; nothing to do with AI? Personally I like what your aiming at, the colour and shape of the jungle. But what's with the ground textures? They do kinda blend with the vegetation but the overtly bleached texture could be ditched. Otherwise playing is like watching old photos... be that bad or good.

very nice, very atmospheric what island and what vegetation addon are you using in this video? it looks amazingly detailed thx VTE uses seb ilo vegetation and then some. That's the 7 Mountains island, unreleased...

The OFP UI is only in one of the pics  I think he's used PS for the writing...there's loads of different types there As usual my secretary knows best  It is a PS font, my old version doesn't even have any handwriting ones, and of over 700 acquired ones only 5 were any good. This one's 'Lefty casual' heh. A bit of italics and bold and it's almost enough scrawny. But the scanning would be a good idea, too bad I don't write print that naturally. Tho looking at the steady flow of camera.sqs set ups here I'd be almost alone with the artistic stuff (and most of all MP, can't drop GUI all of the sudden) Â

Every other bugfix did what it was supposed to Disabling the missile cam didn't work from the dialog for some reason. I'm beginning to feel it's just me... never tried to let anyone else spectate, gotta do that too. I'll try flicking DeathCamMissileCamEnabled around, it's better to not stare your rotten corpse anyho, eh.

oh...erm, don't think he deactivated the script on purpose then And the time was like 180 seconds, the problem was that me and hawkins got blown away, and we went opposite directions I think...they found him in time, but my body landed 60 m from the spot where I got blown to pieces Oh yes I did disable it on purpose. For some reason the spectator script catches every bullet the spectated unit fires and tries to create a missile camera and move it along the bullet. Automatic fire is soo... delicious jam. If it's of any help, most of the weapons in use are JAM. Garcia and Hawkins got blown to bits near an AA gun with secondary explosions occuring just as I said not to go near it. The best showcase for this script when seeking ppls limbs

Now that I got the spectating working, I noticed I can't disable the missile cam which tracks every bullet, shotgun shells and whatnot. That jammed up my OFP. I had a look at the description.ext bit for the button, kinda strange line there. The first line in the missileCam script probably doesn't do jack and shouldn't, but the spectScript script should perhaps exlude auto firing mode or something, atleast. Also the spectating starts from that civvy, far far away on the other side of the map, and moves to the corpse miles away. Any way around that?

Great work guys, but I think the Param example mission description.ext has FDF tagged rsc classes instead of MAP. The simple example mission has that corrected I think. Have to try to fix it myself. Also you could give some more info on what that first option does with the param, medic + medic autoheal. Medic and All automaticly makes the brave teammate bring the dead back to life too, so it can't be that automation. Oh and include that damn RscPicture class into the example so it will be complete

Instead of the Class House, try Vehicle. And Binarize does need a proper cfgModels section where the house has to be: class Default {}; class Vehicle: Default {}; class Housename: Vehicle {}; It doesn't matter what you name the components, I think the names need to be those 'built-in' ones only on real vehicles. Ladder just needs the Start and End vertexes in the Memory Lod.

Nope, you didn't get ripped off. The internal clockspeed of the Athlon XP 2400+ is 1800 MHz, which AMD says is equivalent in computing power to an Intel P4 running at 2400 MHz. While that may be the correct Mhz, Chammy did you mean to say that your CPU is recognized as a 1800+ while it infact is a 2400+? If so, you've missed out on a lot of the processing power the CPU has to offer AMD.com forums are your best bet to find out what I'm snickering about, helped me with my 2600+ which at first was supposedly only a 2000+ but with the correct FSB set from bios it runs as it should. Lets put it this way, 1000 more in ofp benchmark heh.
