(albeit it only works in cadet mode) but still, great fun! I beat all the campaigns and missions then downloaded this, and it's kind of fun to play RAMBO for a change!

oh for fucks sake... it was meant for some of those players who had beat the campaigns using no cheats, as I have, and just wanted a bit of fun, if this thing had been posted on avault you would all be clamoring about it. I hated it, the missions were poorly thought out, especially the tank missions, I prefer playing the original campaign, plus the ULOTC, PMC fury campaigns BTW did anyone ever compile the ULOTC into a campaign file?

I depboed all the music and put it on a CD to listen to. My favorites are all the seventh songs, they kick ass!

I've said it before and I'll probably say it again... want an F-16? BUY FALCON 4.0 want an F-18? BUY JANES F-18 want an F-15? BUY JANES F-15 sorry but the OFP engine can't handle these planes, besides, without so many of the great features that these aircraft have, They would suck, I do agree however that if we had some nonplayable static aircraft that would be cool, so that we could put them at airbases If we do get more aircraft they need to be older and slower, Good examples being the A-1 Skyraider (being built by the Vietnam mod team) or the Harrier, as it has comparable speed to the A-10 I would rather see more helicopters such as the eurotigre or The OH-6 little bird As for the A-10 being crappy... If you don't like the aircraft, you say that, you don't say it's crap. I don't like the Steyr or the AK-47 but their records prove that they are surely not "crap" The A-10 is the ultimate close support aircraft, and the day they retire the last one, I know many a infantry officer/private who is going to miss them, because when your ass is in trouble, there's nothing like a A-10 providing CAS to make you feel better.

um.. there seems to be some confusion about what mission i am talking about, I am talking about the 1985 campaign mission were you play a black ops guy trying to take out a tank base, the 2 hinds attack you, there are NO vulcans, one shilka, but I destroy that with the tanks, sorry for the confusion

actually your both wrong The AH-64 has been around since 1985, and it's first operational use was the the assualt on the columbian government of nicurga (sp?) The AH-64D Longbow (which is NOT featured ingame) upgrade began testing in 1998. The only way I can see you got 1996 was from the Release of Longbow by Janes.

that last one you referred to really isn't a HUMVEE, sure it's fitted on the HUMVEE frame, but it's a very different vehicle, it's the Avenger Air Defense System. And it has 8 stinger tubes and 2 50. cal machine guns, but unlike a regular humvee, the Avenger system cannot be removed, as it is a permanant modification, and for those who might want to see it in OFP, it would be soo unrealistic, as it did not come into service until after the gulf war.

I love planes, and I mostly fly plane sims, and I was estatic to see my fave plane (warthog) represented in OFP, but compared to the real life version.. it's crap! I mean the A-10 in real life can carry 8 Tons of bombs! and because of the view distance in OFP your plane goes by too fast for really accurate bombing.

Actually I love the machine guns, I grab one whenever I get the chance, if I could carry a Law with a M-60 I would be in Heaven! The trick for me is to use short bursts and correct your fire, except at close range, I use it like a 3-round sniper rifle, unless I am shooting into a group very tight, a vehicle, or don't know where the enemy is.

not true, there are already 2 operational squadrons flying the Osprey in Arizona, however both are grounded because of accidents at the moment, and I agree, the Osprey would be a crappy addon.

I doubt it, because the SAW did not replace the M-60 until around 1991, so unless a mod group makes one, then probably not, however there are various saws on the net, using the PK and M-60 models.
