so i was playing around with the setObjectTexture  lines from the A2 version and it works,  even the ranks, but the Unit Patches don't it might be related to the what is going on with the Squad.xmls, i compiled a list of the setObjectTexture (Click the spoiler:icon_cool:)

For personal reference, what took the place of the SAW in a USMC/US Army fireteam in the early 80's before the M249 came about? I've tried to find stuff, but can only find it was possibly either an M14 set to full auto, or an M16A1 with bipods?

    Maybe, the M60? Though that's a 7.62mm, not a 5.56.

  4. Bug fix request: A mod to make all infantry units display the (SetMimic "Dead") when they are killed.

Uniform request: The OG-107 uniform, used by 1960s-era U.S. soldiers. You could reskin the M88 Afghanka uniform that already exists for A3. It's close enough.

Gun request: The C7NLD, used by the Dutch army. I heard there were some people working on one but I can't find a download anywhere.

Reskin request Reskin the Ghost Hawk with a U.S. Army or U.S. Navy livery. Or reskin the UH-1 from CUP in a U.S. Marine or U.S. Navy livery.

Addons used: CBA A3 (the glue that holds it all together), CUP Terrains (for Bystrica and Bukovina), @wsxcgy's Extra RHS Uniform Re-textures 2.0 (for the vest and uniform), VSM Gear Pack (for the CADPAT backpack), Canadian Armed Forces 2 (for the helmet, NVG, ELCAN sight, and C7 rifle), RHS U.S. Armed Forces (for the eye-pro and the flashlight on the rifle), Zombies and Demons (for the zombies).

    Hello,

thank you all for taking time to suggest improvements for this amazing feature! The final product will be even better thanks to your efforts. Allow me to pitch in my suggestions:

    1) Crew animations - necessity! As long as the crew will just stare at the MFDs constantly without any human movement, it will be a major atmosphere killer. I hope some inspiration can be taken from Red Orchestra 2, for example - I can imagine the crewmen looking out the viewports,  checking their MFDs, looking around,... This is followed by animations of turned out crewmembers viewed from inside the vehicle as well as death animations for both states. Please dont just make them slump forward! They have to feel real and raw to convey emotion.

Good point. Thankfully at least the joysticks move when you move the camera around. For me the biggest thing is the lighting. It sucks to play a nighttime mission and then have a flashlight light up the interior of a completely-buttoned-up tank.

Yeah, this is really frustrating. Pour hours into making a mission for your community, it runs fine on local host, runs fine on the test server, but on the day of the mission the AI decides it wants to do something else and then people complain about the mission is broken.

I've also had AH-9 Hummingbirds refuse to land correctly from run to run.

BTW, i may have mentioned this before but Malden 2035's roads are buggy in general, especially for tracked vehicles. There are certain sections (seemingly randomly placed, but repeatably glitchy) that cause vehicles to stop, or go into an infinite 8-loop on the spot.

Yeah, I just played ArmA 1 again yesterday and found the AI on Sahrani drives better than ArmA 3.
