I don't see any reason why it will not be available in the Middle East. If it is not released in the Middle East, it is always possible to buy it over the internet and download it as a digital download.

If it is a static object, it will be very stable and it will be very possible to land aircraft on the flight deck. As for the well deck, I assume it will be included as there are water craft in the game, but nobody knows for sure except BIS. -

I believe the LHD will be a static object in the game. However, with some code and script, it shouldn't be too much work to make it into a fully drivable "vehicle." -

Or fly up hundreds of feet into the air after driving over a boulder and land back down on the ground with no damage at all. -

Love the new M1A2 TUSK. With no Vulcan in the tracked section, and seeing the Avenger in previous videos, I can't wait for the wheeled vehicle section to open up. -
Good points there, wipman. There could be a "modern" variant of the M1911 included in ArmA 2. I heard on a website/interview that each weapon has multiple variants. As for the Makarov, I have no idea. I don't understand why the XM8 rifle is included in ArmA 2. Wasn't it cancelled over several years ago? Wouldn't make sense to have it in the game. Might as well include the OICW. Regarding the artillery, the description on the official ArmA 2 website says that the M119-A1 howitzer is air-movable. If BIS knows this, they could've incorporated it into the game. Plus, it has wheels.

It's the new world order!

OFP 1 and ArmA 1 both were rated "M" in the United States. Soldier of Fortune was rated "M" and it had more gore than both ArmA 1 and OFP 1 combined. I think gore would be a great addition, but it would have to be realistic. No Makarov pistols blowing off legs, etc.

Another new ArmA 2 picture! This one shows a U.S. Marine Corps UH-1Y helicopter. http://www.armedassault.info/index.php?cat=news&id=2137 Notice the helicopter door gunner. Hopefully a sign of better things to come. Also, notice the interior of the helicopter that can be seen through the glass. Very detailed. However, notice the AAV in the background, no shadow.

There was a YouTube video that showed CDF and USMC on the "BLUFOR" side. Several factions for each side. For example, USMC/CDF = BLUFOR -

Actually, OFP had East/West/Resistance. The player could set who the resistance was allied with in the editor. -
Just the fact that you can play on different sides (Operation Flashpoint 1, ArmA 1) is great, because you can see multiple point of views. Most games you only get to play as one side, but in OFP 1 and ArmA 1, you get to play on both sides of a conflict.

Judging from the information available on the official ArmA 2 website, it appears that NAPA are some sort of anarchists. They are the most ill-equipped out of all the factions, and are unfriendly to all factions except civilians. -

The Micro-AI is the feature I am most eager to see. I'm also looking forward to the new "conversation" system. Maybe it'll be as good as Fallout 3's, who knows? What I don't want to see is an M1A2 Abrams tank exploding in a massive fireball after two RPG-7 hits to the front armor. Or the main cannon being completely destroyed after one RPG-7 hit. -

This video is from November 2008. Don't worry, things most likely have improved from then. -

More like, The carrier in the German YouTube video was a Wasp-class amphibious assault ship from what I could tell. It was definately not a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier. -

I'm glad that the M-14 is going to be added into the game. I hope the conversation system has its own menu box, so the interaction menu box is less "cluttered." Also, judging by the video, player movement seems more smooth and effecient compared to ArmA 1. -

Last week, the update was released on Thursday, but late at night for most people. So don't worry. -

"Nice weather, isn't it?" "Support that Sykes at 7 o'clock!" Microsoft Sam, FTW! In all seriousness, I am really looking forward to the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship, along with the U.S. Navy crew on board. (I am obsessed with the U.S. Navy) Even though the video is from November 2008, and already the animations, models and graphics look superb! I loved the way that Cooper picked up Sykes and put him on his back. Also, the Osprey and F-35 look spectacular! I have no problem with the sprint animation. It looks better than the ArmA 1 sprint animation, in my opinion. Oh, and one more thing. Is it me or do the U.S. Marines in ArmA 2 look an awful like the Jonny's Marines addon? -
Someone said earlier that NAPA stood for "Nationalist Partisans." But then again, Chernarussians don't have English as their main language.
-
No, actually there are lyrics to the Russian Federation's anthem.

In Grand Theft Auto III, which came out back in 2001, the entering and exiting animations for getting in and out of vehicles was fairly realistic; more so then ArmA 1's, in my opinion. But still, there is no excuse for having "teleportation" or "popping" in and out of vehicles in ArmA 2. With OFP on the PC back in 2001 it was understandable, but this is 2009. There should be more realistic animations for entering and exiting vehicles. But then again, we shouldn't say much as these are trailers and not the finished product. ArmA 2 isn't even "Gold" yet, so we should keep waiting and keeping an eye out.

A person brought up earlier that most ArmA maps are too large for the average intended online game, therefore resulting in considerable performance drops when playing online.
