    I still sim with all of 'em. I love the graphics and advancements in Arma 3 but I don't love so much the 'futuristic' stuff. Arma 2 is still pretty great and at full settings looks pretty decent and I can run larger co-op missions without it bogging down. Arma CO/QG still gets used despite it's age (same for OFP).

    Played the SP version last evening and had a lot of fun. The frontal assault was more like a probe...a rifle section came at us on a wide frontage, followed by a small combined armour/infantry probe which was dealt with handily by the PaK's and a crewed mortar. Then it went quiet (except Buzzkov in his aircobra :) ). Waiting. Waiting. Dashed around to check on my troops, ran over to check the gun emplacements. Just as I got back to my section trench the Soviets seem to swarm out of the village to our rear and then lightly attacked again from the front. I didn't last long lol. Don't know if that was scripted (well done if it was!) or just a freak happenstance with the AI that makes this game so cool. Anyway, well done and thanks for your efforts!! :cool:

    Finally managed to find time to get this squared away and added to my gameplay. Really well done, lads! I used Six Updater without any probs (Nice 'how-to' vid on Armaholic btw....ok yes, I am a weak man, however, I also learned a long time ago manuals/maps/questions saves time/frustration and add clarity ^.^) so thanks Sickboy and everyone else's effort in this excellent modification. 07

    Try the one Bushlurker pointed to in his first post in this thread. I use that one and its quite good- the AI give as good as they get, and can get sneaky as well... took a section on a patrol near the border enroute to scout out an assigned target when we got surprised by an enemy APC and some footsloggers setting an ambush.

    I set my machine to run it as MP LAN with my son and I playing (or if I have some m8s wanting to play, I'll set it Tinternet)...progress is saved and we have a blast.
