6thSense.eu Presents: WeaponPack
LoFFeN replied to sickboy's topic in ARMA - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Nice. DL'ing now. The M14 Rifle = EDIT: Very nice guys. Even though the muzzleflash looks a bit OFP'ish. How can I get a rifleman to "spawn" with the M14 instead of the M4 for example? (In the editor) -
@Trini: Indeed outstanding work, m8! Everything were top notch. Rating: 10/10 The best ArmA-Movie made so far, imo.
-
1. Playing a firefight scenario set up in the editor, is fun as hell. The supersonick-cracks and those effects make the battle sound more closer to reality. --------- 2. Some tweaking of the sounds. Some aren't finished yet and etc. Here is my list that I wrote up on page 15. --------------- 3. When I saw the preview video back in April, I was just like "Oh Man". Can't wait for this! And yes the wait was worth it even though the Beta contains some errors.

^Wow. That's just awesome guys. ------ @Mac8484: Incoming US Mortars
-
Respect! Â Great update, C. Thanks to all of you "The MOD team". But imo, prioritize the one you are working on at this moment now "...natural echo and natural sounding", becuase that's the most unique one. Cheers.
-
Holy Sh1t! Would be sweet to get that "woosh" like that for incomming artillery. Even though there aren't mortars in ArmA, I hope an addonmaker will take care of that and make one.
-
Btw, welcome Durg. Â Always good to have more guys on a mod team. Anyway great work guys. The installation was very easy. ---- Anyway some feedback for changes/improvements: *Playing in editor, so I'm writing a lot off stuff down* - The "beep-beep-beep" alarm is still on the tanks. - The M4 Carbine is still unchanged. The echo sound stops way to fast. - Looking forward to other vechile-sounds. - The M240 MG on the M1A1 Abrams, has the same problem as the M4 Carbine. Echo stops way to fast. - The Shilka don't have impact sound from it's rounds hitting the ground. - The Browning 50.caliber Machinegun seems a bit unfinished. - Change the impact sounds on the rokcets mounted on Choppers. The Hellfires and the FFAR's impact sounds, sound totally alike. - The volume on the 30mm Gun on the BMP-2, needs to be raised a bit. - The reload sound on the M203 and the GP-25 is way to slow for the reload-animation. - The AK-74 needs improvement. - I like the new GBU-12 impact sound, however it don't sound loud and brutal enough. Inspiration for you: | Posetive Stuff: - The volume seems to be upped/louder on most weapons and other stuff. - Impact sound on the 20-30mm's sounds nice. - Grenades and Grenade-launchers sound very good. - Firefights still sound kickass off course. - Your MOD is still my first choice, by far.

Smoke Effects: Collapsing buildings
LoFFeN replied to dmarkwick's topic in ARMA - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Got them to work yesterday, and I have to say, great! Even though my PC struggles a bit with those heavy smoke effects. -
The MOD is still in it's Beta-Stage, atlest I guess so. (?) They are planning to make vechile-sounds too, in later releases.
-
Ahh great news, Even. And great work, Chammy. Keep it up, guys.
-
why so low FPS for ati users still on 1.08?!!!!!&#
LoFFeN replied to dragunov90's topic in ARMA - TROUBLESHOOTING
XP owns Vista by a lot, when it comes to gaming! Vista struggles with driver issues, bugs and performance issues. I bet that Vista maybe need a year or two to be fully stable. So my tip is to have both XP and Vista installed on two different Harddrives or partitions for example. -
Woow cool movie, Supershooter. That semi-truck look kickass also, btw. One question for you. How do you follow the chopper in motion/high speed...?
-
^Hehe yeah. I guess pathfinding and navigating for the A.I, needs much more work.. But what you describes happens at 02:28.

Smoke Effects: Collapsing buildings
LoFFeN replied to dmarkwick's topic in ARMA - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Nice effects, DMark. Yeah me neither. More detailed instructions, please. -
^Hehe yeah, you got that right. Â *a massive * I just played around in the editor by extending the battle that is shown in my preview. Jeezez that was intense! RPG rockets incoming, Machinegun rounds popping up all over the place, M1A1's fireing & supersonick-cracks everywhere...*ArmA'gasm*
-
Haha alrighty then. *I'm stupid lol * Anyway they look pretty nice. Beats the hell out of the default ArmA smoke.
-
Hmm.. So this smoke-addon it's just for MP, and not SP or the Editor?
-
Great update, Evenlease.
-
COD4 looks decent. Nothing to "woow" about really.. Much of the same stuff seen in the previous COD's, a lot scripted stuff and still no ragdoll effects. But the COD series (PC) are pretty fun though. Nice cintematic scenes and it is the best Arcade FPS "Run and Gun" game out there.
-
@Wika: Thanks, m8. Those in the first part of the clip, were placed about 450-500 ingame meters away. During the "Urban Firefight", the T-72 was roughly 250 "ingame" meters away, while the BRDM was about 300 meters away. No hard distances at all really for knocking them out. It just looks a bit longer on youtube, because of the bad Picture: Quality/Size.

Hey guys. I have made a little clip using Chammys Soundmod. So for those who haven't been able to try this MOD yet, get a preview here: Watch it here: ArmA - Chammy's Soundmod (on Youtube)
-
^Yeah I'm really looking forward to that. Gotta love this mod. Firefights are so fu*king intense and awesome! Anyway I have made a little clip using Chammys Soundmod. So for those who haven't been able to try this MOD yet, get a preview here: Watch it here: ArmA - Chammy's Soundmod (on Youtube)
-
You can also stream/watch it at filefront though... Anyway cool movie. Nice editing.
-
Please don't mess up the current sounds on the AT-4/RPG-7. They sound stunning and the same with it's impact/explosion sound. Even though the detonation could have been a bit louder. Three different versions?
-
Are you sure that you are copying Chammys wss files and overwriting them in the correct "Sound" folder before making/re-PBO'ing the new weapons.pbo? Weapons --> Data --> Sound --> Copy Chammys wss files here, and overwrite the previous ones. Then Re-PBO.. Steps: ^Clickys.
