    Hi, if you're playing ACE Warfare then you need the ACE mod files. And I use Spirited Machines ArmA 2 launcher. I have my own server setup via a spare PC connected via LAN with Operation Flashpoint, ArmA, ArmA2 & ArmA 3 using all my various ArmA Warfare, MFCTI, Patrol Ops & crCTI  edits without issues playing on my own against the A.I. I'd suggest setting up your server with a mission not using any mods until you get the hang of it. Although my server has all the ArmA versions and missions it's been a while since I played but had no issues when I last played, even the ACE version.


    But I understand your frustrations, believe me I've been there myself, don't give up because you'll suss it out in the end. You've made me want to fire up a game now, maybe start with Operation Flashpoint and a bit of MFCTI, oh the memories.


    If you'd like I could fire up my server and zip/rar and send you the files I use to start my server, if I recall they're a mix of bat and cfg files. There's a server launcher made by someone but can't recall off the top of my head but I have that as well probably on my server PC. 😉

    Don't know if you're still playing it but it should be easy to disable the script being called if you de-pbo the mission or choose one without the script or stop shooting your own guys. I don't recall it ending the game but it's been years since I've played ArmA2. But like in real life if you shoot your own guys, you're in deep sh*t! 🙄


    Also I'm sure I zipped up 18 different edits of Warfare and not all had the teamkill script...........or did they? 😁

    I sent you an email with a link to 25 scripts of George's I had on my hard drive, any problems let me know. Sad to hear about George, he helped me with errors when I had them. I remember telling him off (politely I may add) as it was a Sunday if I recall and he should have been putting his feet up. Top man, hope he's well and get's through the other side of it all.


    Just went through my old messages and found a few with George, even though busy with work and his young one he still took the time out to help me and to feel free to ask him for any help. Again, top man.

  5. Just please don't hassle me for updates and fixes as I don't play ArmA3 anymore. I actually play and Mod No Mans Sky, modding NMS is a challenge so I muck about with that now and try and fix what HG can't be bothered with. Yeah it's a far cry from playing the ArmA series although I have them all installed, even Operation Flashpoint with my old edits of MFCTI and crCTI on every version of ArmA, oh the memories. 😀


    Right I'm off before I get stuck into ArmA again. 🙄

    I may check to see if any scripts I've used in my edits have been updated and put them in and upload them. No promises but I've nothing else to do these days. 😉

    Right, here are all the edits I could find, haven't played them in a while but they played fine when I last played 50+ years ago. There's about 10 versions of becti in there give or take a few.

    Yeah i'm pretty much the same, fired up ArmA3 today first time in a while and it crashed, not had that in a while but i've since sorted it. I'm just hoping if ArmA 4 is ever released that it returns to the magic of old and uses an engine that's not as sh*t as this is, apologies bohemia but it's pretty poor to be honest. I have spent a lot of money on my hardware because i love hardware and i love gaming but this plays like a turd on my PC. It's great for what it does i suppose but it's just not good enough to keep an old school ArmA/OFP player like myself who's been a fan since OFP and has owned every ArmA game since to play this anymore.


    This game was rinsed dry years ago and only nostalgia brings me back once in a while, but never have i played as much as i did when OFP was released. ArmA2 OA is much better than ArmA3, obviously that's my opinion and i'm not shoving that down anyone's throat. And ArmA 3 may look better than OFP and ArmA2 but underneath it's a turd, sorry but I can't play it. Out of all of them it's at the bottom of the pile, and if it wasn't for the amazing script/mission makers and modders this game would be dead in the water.


    Still i credit Bohemia for the magic they've given us over the years and even my fondest gaming memories is because of that magic. No other game comes close to the OFP/Arma series and i hope it continues. It would be a sad day indeed if ArmA3 was the last ArmA game to be released, i'd probably die that day. And lastly credits to all you scripters, mission and mod makers who have given their time for nothing more than a thank you and the odd pillock giving them sh*t they don't deserve.


    And thank f*ck for MFCTI/Becti and Cleanrock/Kastenbiers crCTI and Dommination, I'd be bored sh*tless without you guys! Thankyou all!!!!  :respekt:

    Myself anyway, i've been playing since the original OFP back in the day and every version since, not so much ArmA3 as I lost interest. I don't even play ArmA3 anymore, it never had what OFP did back then.....oh the memories.


    I've still got all the warfare missions, mfcti, crcti the sector control missions and loads i edited plus mods, makes me realise how much ArmA3 has lost it's way. I still have OFP installed with my own missions and mike melvins - mfcti and cleanrocks - crcti. 😊

  12. Hey everyone, I've come back after a while playing other things but on firing up my old becti edits i had the withRailway error in the UI's which i've since fixed. I don't know if anyone plays this much but if anyone wants a copy here's a link, i only zipped one 0.97 and a 0.98 version but i have others with Vcom and one with CAS added. Sh*t i made so many i can't remember, i also have Warlords edits that i'll add on the warlords page, that's got some cool scripts added to them.


    These are ai playable based on Bennys 0.97 and 0.98 with some additional sh*t i've tweaked, added or fixed. I'm not maintaining them for you or adding or removing anything you can do that yourself, i'm not interested in any bitching either as i'm getting too old to give a sh*t. All i want is to share my edits and for you to enjoy yourselves as i have and do on my personal server without any d*ck heads ruining the game! Do what you want with them but give credits if you edit and release to whoever i've credited in my edits, which i think is Benny, Sari etc. Respect and credits go a long way in saying thanks to everyone who made this awesome mission.

    I've just come back to ArmA and started tinkering with your cool mod settings pack but had this error when d*cking about with the icon settings. I probably should have taken a screenshot of what settings where selected, but i guess i could do that later if it helps.

  15. Hi George just posting the issue and your fix that we discussed via PM so others can see what didn't work originally and also see that you took the time out to fix it.


    So i had this issue below when playing my edit of Warlord on my personal server and I sent it to George.




    He replied quickly with this fix which worked a charm, also adding []execVM "GF_Killfeed\GF_Killfeed.sqf"; to initPlayerLocal.sqf instead of init.sqf. So I just wish to thank George for taking the time on a Sunday to fix this issue. Top man!
