    NVIDIA GeForce 175.16 WHQL drivers

    I had to uninstall 175.16 and go back to 169.21 for x64. My display looked like someone had been coloring in with felt tips. After reverting back all is fine. But for Vista x64 the 175.16 worked like a charm. My system: Quad core 6600, 4 Gig @1066, Asus P5K Deluxe Wifi AP, XFI Gamer, Asus 8800GTX....etc etc. OS Windows x64 & Vista Home Premium x64. Running at 1680*1050 everything on high inc' aliasing. Runs loverly. Â

    Arma feedback thread - based on 1.14

    Thanks BIS and Mike Melvin & the rest of the team for an excellent patch and multiplayer warfare, although i am still disappointed with the patch overall. The one that still annoys me is the swimming in the sea and losing all your weapons bug. I would have thought this would have been fixed by now. You cross a river to sneak up on your enemy and all your left with is your wet clothing. Â Please BIS can you fix it for me.......Jim'll fix it for you, and you and you....da da da daaaa. Â

    Warfare Full Sahrani and others soon

    More islands is definately cool. I've just ported both 16 & 32 player Warfare to Mapfacts Desert Sahrani, took all of 30 secs lol. Crikey i gotta hit the sack, just noticed the time. Â Gonna do some more tomorrow if i get time. My kids are off school...

    Its probably due to the CH_M1a1HA_Replacement addon. Try deleting that addon and try it again.

    (EVO)CTI Release  Full Release of EVO CTI

    Downloaded this the other day and i absolutely love it. Got my first ranking today which unlocked a few extras which added to the game play. Also took one enemy flag which they soon recaptured. Very addictive even playing on my lonesome. Been playing cRCTI for ages but this is definately the new kid on the block for me. I've had no issues myself so far after playing for a little over an hour. I'm surprised there is very little feedback on this, i can only guess not many people have tried or heard of this one yet. Sounds are awesome with one of the sound mods and various other excellent mods around. I don't use ECS so can't comment on it. My only gripe is the equipment menu from cRCTI, would be nice to match it to the rest of the GUI.....slaps myself on back of the head for being so trivial. Â Definately keeping an eye out for any updates. arma.isgreat.org this rocks......

    MIG 15 addon by Bdfy and Volksturm

    What can i say, simply stunning. Best looking plane bar none. I'm adding it to my version of cRCTI and hope to see that baby above me in the clouds. I'd better be on the east side. I can't wait and i really hope that more planes will be released as detailed as the Mig 15.

    Yes mate! It's what i do every day. I need to get out more, er no i don't. Obviously its better against human opponents, but they cheat, and they moan. Which is why since flashpoint i don't play online anymore. Oh those were the days.

    Nope, i played it in multiplayer but on my own. Played as east and got my ass spanked 600 points approx to west and about 300 points to me after a few hours lol. It's good to see the ai use the airstrikes, transports etc. Does get a bit choppy after a while. But so much fun.

    Easy, I used DVD's cRCTI version which i have modified changing units to Rellikki's units and vehicles addons. Also i have various versions, Desert and normal. And now i made my own special version with these scripts added which i edited so Rellikki's desert and woodland heli's are used to match my desert and green islands, depending on which island i play. And i have a DVD version but with OGN's lovely gui. As you can gather i get bored which is why i made so many versions. Basically you don't need the addons you can add the folder support2 to DVD's or OGNs cRCTI versions. Add: #include "SupportV2\AirStrike\Napalm\sounds\sounds.hpp" to your description.ext file Add: [] execVM "SupportV2\Support_CFG.sqf"; to your init.sqs Add a couple of empty planes named Westair, Eastair, Guerair like the A10, SU34B, and AV8B2 and thats pretty much it. Give or take. Right what can i add next.......     Man i love the scripts, they really make a difference to gameplay. I've made my own modified/edited versions of DVD's CRCTI with a bit of OGN CRCTI thrown in with my selection of addon's and edited DVD's addon to suit my taste. And added SupportV2 to them, but i seem to get a problem with the heli transport. I crashed at my dropoff waypoint but when using the transport a second time instead of going to the waypoint i picked it went to the last one then crashed. And after that i can't select it, it just gives me the option to cancel transport. And when cancelling thats the only transport option i get stuck in a loop. Worked great for a while. Got about 10 transports before that happened. Shame! Hope it will get fixed. A bit laggy at times but to be expected i suppose. Just want to say thx as it's improved the gameplay so much imo.

    @The.D MattEffects has always worked fine but the bis flame texture runs at the same time. I just dislike the crappy looking bis flame. If i disable the ecs explosion effects completely then MattEffects runs fine, but like you i like the explosion after effects but not with the bis flame running alongside MattEffects. It looks kinda weird. I did try to edit the main.hpp and removed the texture but it caused my hard drive to go crazy, obviously i wasn't successful as something was still calling for it. Thx anyway, back to the drawing board, it's no biggie but i hate to be defeated.

    I've tried it with and without the modified core file. Tracers work fine but the ugly bis flame just shows up every time and no errors of any kind for me.

    Has anyone fixed the issue with MatH_ArmAEffects and the default BIS flames running as well. Its doing my head in, tried modifying the ECS_Core.pbo main.hpp although i removed the flame it threw up an error and caused my hard drive to spasm. A trivial thing i know but it looks horrible running matH's effects then this ugly flame running over the top of it. When blowing up a uaz the flame doesn't show it seems to be on armored vehicles with the explosion effects enabled. It's fine when disabled. Any suggestions or am i stuck with it? Tried versions 1.08 and 1.09Beta.

    Excellent mod guys, but is there any way of getting rid of those crappy BIS flames? I'm running MatH_ArmAEffects but the BIS flames are running as well. Man i hate them...... As for the mod overall.....

    @Fromz I thought i'd double check so i reinstalled 1.4P inc' the 1.09 hotfix and about 15 mins in the game i get the same error. Don't get the error with ArmA 1.08 With regard to the splash error i realised i had the wrong config and addon from different versions but this error is with 1.41P. It isn't affecting gameplay but its just an annoying pop up.

    Like GL33K i have also noticed vehicles upside down on their roofs, mostly BMPs.     Hi Dooie Just thought i'd give your mission a go as i haven't played it since your earlier builds and i must admit it's quite enjoyable. I was wondering if you could add the place and build option for placing buildings as in crCTI. So you know exactly where you plonk your buildings. Also will the ai be able to build bases in the near future as i like many others like to play offline. I don't play online much these days as i did with flashpoint due to kiddies and people getting their asses kicked then accusing you of cheating and then getting kicked. Still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe implement some sort of base template for ai officer to prevent them stacking buildings on top of one another as i remember that issue in your flashpoint version which was also cool. Those were the days........ahhh! I remember pestering you on your vehicle.sqs script, bless you LOL! Anyway as usual keep up the good work mate. Quick update, as i'm playing as well as popping on here, i don't know if this has been mentioned or is normal but when buying vehicles with crew an empty vehicle appears as well. And is there any way to buy them independently and not attached to yourself or does this happen automatically? Guess i need to play it longer!

    @Fromz Ignore my last post, i just realized the errors were due to me using thunderbirds 1.4 fixed version with the 1.4P update. I got the updates muddled up, just installed the right ones and no probs.     @Fromz Upon recently using the 1.09 fixed version i noticed that the G36c had no sound. I just copied g36_s.wss and renamed accordingly. A temp solution until i find the bin program. Still it works, that's what matters. Oh i forgot, the ffamm_splash.paa is missing.

    @Fromz Just wanted to say a quick well done on this nice sound pack. Loved it! Obviously a few issues as mention in previous posts but doesn't spoil the overall sound pack. Keep it up mate, can't wait for future updates! Now I'm spoiled for choice, FDF, Chammy and FFamm, all excellent sound packs.

    Leftskidlow helicopter sounds

    Love the sounds but i get a horrible stuttering noise when starting up the choppers. It seems to be the environment sounds (500inside.wss, ah1inside.wss, h60in.wss). It settles down and resumes normally when i take off. When i shot a UH60 and it crash landed the rotors were still rotating as was the stuttering environment sound. It stopped when the rotors stopped. No other sound mods were running. I added the environment sounds to Fromz sound mod, edited the config fired it up and same issue, only adding the environment sounds. Any ideas?
  24. Man this is very cool. Reminds me of the the old ofp ecp. Excellent! The only problem i found so far is when enemy units are approx 100metres or so away you can here them talking. I've not had any CTD's thats with using about 10+ mods. ArmA is getting better by the day thanks to the dedication of all you excellent scripters and modders. Can't wait for future updates.
