  3. @tpw Hi mate, sorry if this has been asked, just didn't fancy going through 200+ pages. Anyway, i was playing the excellent and extremely addictive Pilgrimage by Rydygier and of course using tpw mods, when i noticed a car vanish right in front of me upon reaching a waypoint. Is there a way you could make the cars not disappear when within a certain distance from player as it looked kind of odd. Thought the aliens had abducted the car and it's occupants. :D To be honest i didn't think they even disappeared, i thought their waypoints were looped, back and forth etc! I'm sure it's your mod as the only vehicle related mod i'm using is refined vehicles. But hey, what do i know? Apologies if it isn't. ;)

    Thanks for clearing that up. I've been zipping around in a hijacked strider hmg, dodging artillery and mortars, so could have missed said transmissions. Normally i'm on foot! ;) Also is there a way of stopping radio transmissions coming through at the same time? I've had multiple transmissions come through including the client info and can get a little garbled. And you can on occasion miss something as it gets nudged up! It's no biggie, just thought i'd ask. ;)

    @Rydygier Before the beta2 i'd see the RADIO transmission calling for armored or air support. With air i'm only seeing the "RTB" message and the armored "we're on our way" message. Is this due to the limited radio range of the original caller that i can't see his call for support? ;)

    I'm like that when i find the tactical glasses or the perfect weapon. I play this on "HARD" though with a "LOW" % of loot in buildings, which means i really have my work cut out! :D ---------- Post added at 16:20 ---------- Previous post was at 14:46 ---------- Was finally nice to see parachutes! Was on Pyros and was surrounded, felt like the movie "Hamburger Hill". I took it and i held it! Plenty of fun with a sniper rifle and an rpg! :D

    LOL! Was it that obvious? :D I expect nothing more! ;) @Anyone who's interested. Here's a pic of me using igiload script and earplug script, which is a bit gimmicky i know! I can put a quad bike in the truck. Earplug is just what it says, it's easier than turning the volume down to the precise amount when required. Handy when driving or artillery is right next to you! :D It's just me tinkering while i'm bored. None of Rydygiers code was harmed during the making of this version! ;) ---------- Post added at 12:00 ---------- Previous post was at 10:08 ---------- @Rydygier Just a suggestion, i edited the text as you already know. But i started to edit the Radio text, merely adding the words "Situation report" for example. Anyway, I was playing and this radio message i edited popped up (Picture below) and just seeing the edited words "CONTACT!" made me jump somewhat as i didn't spot the enemy until they started firing seconds later. Maybe you could add the word to the appropriate text......or not! Just a simple word can make a lot of difference, well it did for me anyway. ;)

    Yeah it's no biggie with pilots, very rarely come across them anyway, but thanks for pointing it out. ETA for choppers only would be cool, if vehicles are a pain due to terrain and distance and possible enemy contact then by all means leave it. ETA choppers are all you need. :D

    It doesn't have to be 100% accurate, just an approximation. It's just to give it another bit of realism. And something else to worry about! ;) I was right next to the airfield and could see the chopper before they radio'd in so maybe a distance check before ETA is called. No point giving an ETA when its about 200m away eh? :D Also i don't know if it's me but i came across 2 pilots and couldn't sell their personal loot from their bodies!!!! :confused:

    @Rydygier Just had another idea while playing, and hopefully easy to implement. When enemy radio's for aerial or armored support, could you maybe add an ETA in minutes from said support? Will just add that little extra when you're listening on the radio and giving you a time warning on whether to sit and stay or get the f*ck out of there! ;)

    Yeah it's a good thing when you release new updates because there's usually updates and fixes to the mods i'm using, so all good! ;) Just about to start Dev branch 1.91 beta 1.

    Thanks Rydygier. Do you know i've never completed this yet, because every time you release a new one i start from scratch. Even if i'm so so close. I just enjoy playing it, which is proof enough of how good this SP mission actually is! :D It's hard sharing my time between this, crCTI & Sari & Zerty's Warfare.....:)

    While it may be a good idea in principal i think it detracts from the main aim of the mission, which is to find your brother. Personally i don't always bother to do the airports/airfields and/or strongholds unless it's on my route. I think as the mission is now is where it should be. But that's only my opinion, it's Rydygier who really knows where's this is going to end up. But in the end it's the ideas that have made this what it is, and Rydygiers magic. ;)

    crCTI Kastenbier Edition

    Hey thhamm, my son nagged at me to rent an ArmA3 server so i gave in. Although i downloaded the ArmA3 version of crCTI i never really played it.....until now. Just want to say thanks for an excellent and addictive conversion. We've been playing it on the server today for many hours, until we all got hungry. And we're playing it tomorrow as well. Keep up the good work as crCTI is a true gem! ;) Thanks to all the guys working on this or who have worked on this! ;)

    I find standing at a dead units feet and close to his waist gives me that sweet spot to sell loot. As Rydygier said it's a bit of a pain at times but it does work and I've got several mods running. ;)

    It worked fine for me mate, quite possibly a mod! ;) @Rydygier I have a rented Vilayer Arma3 server, if you want to use it to test your MP version let me know and i'll password it and give you the password so you can test it alone if needed. Let me know. ;)
