I live in Greece but I bought the game in Edinburgh where I am studying two weeks before my vacations. The store had a 10 day return policy but it got cancelled, apparently people would buy a game, copy it and its cd key and then return it. The only similarity between OFP and Soldner is that they both left me with my mouth open (not for the same reason though ) . Have no fear though ! the devellopers will release a patch every month where they will add new ''features'' (ie calibrations) in the game. So by the time OPF 2 arrives , it will already be obsolete from Soldner

Oh come on now! You can't tell me you feel like a manly soldier of fortune when your player makes that pathetic grunting noise after he lands from a jump. "Ennngh!" Hahaha! Anyway, a new patch is out for those who still cling to Soldner. For me it is over and the worst thing is I couldnt take it back to the store (their return policy had expired, something with CD keys). Total waste.

I was in a friends marriage yesterday: on one part was the buffet (wedding cake and all) and on the other was this huge projector showing the match. Anyway, I watched the full ninety minutes dutifully and then went to speak to some girls for the extension and lost the goal. There were a lot of old hags pretending to be hardcore fans and shouting rubbish

I had great hopes for this game as an OFP replacement is long overdue. So as soon as I finished the exams I went out and bought it and I now feel cheated. It is quite rubbish, everything the others said and more. I feels more like a set of tools or an unfinished game rushed in before the competitors. And there is something wrong with the distances too. The waypoint markers show at least twice the actual distance.

So... We will finally get those Discmans in the next BF? Great

So the US is now building dumb airplanes for inept third world air defences? Well it is gonna be different when the Chinese start flooding the market with cheap microwave countermeasures. Unmanned fighters and bombers is a narrowminded tactic and a large step backwards (at least with current technology).

Whenever I go head on against a tank and fire at it, it seems that only the cannon gets damaged while the rest remains intact. This happens with both AT missiles and tank rounds. For the latter, no matter where I aim, be it the turret, or hull, the cannon is extremely easy to hit. Appart from being unrealistic, it is also no fun since one shot will leave an otherwise undamaged tank looking embarrased. Has anyone fixed this or know how to fix it?

All right, I know this is an old game but it is the best heli sim i have played. I have the following problem: in a mission, the numerical MFD keys, the arrow keys and the home,insert, page up/down, delete and end keys do not work at all. They are essential at gameplay since they control radar/FLIR. If someone knows how to solve this please tell me since I have found nothing in the internet (including SimHQ).

You know what the most sad part is? Thosuands of your citizens have died and people like you are still completely ignorant to why it happened. Yes, Bin Laden attacked the US becuase of bases in Saudi Arabia. Invading countries that had nothing to do with it, like Iraq, won't prevent it from happening again. Understanding why it happened in the first place, just might. If nothing else, you owe it to the victims of the WTC attacks. And for the love of God, please use capital letters and punctuations to mark the start and end of your sentences. Â I am not at all convinced that 9/11 was done by Bin Laden. The proof that the US provided (such as the passport that miraculously escaped the WTC inferno and the pilot manual found alongside the koran in some car) is laughable. Maybe the attacks are too delicate an issue for most Americans to discuss but I would like to learn/ hear something more about them. By the way, what is the death count for US soldiers in Iraq?

Turning back investors because they have ties to the "terrorist" countries?.....  no wait they are already doing this with patriot act   Such bigotry... I can understand it if they do it for chemical/ biological weapons info (as if a chemistry/ biology graduate does not know the basic stuff you can find in the library ), but for anything else these processes should be outlawed
