ahh going a bit too far with the shortened barrel.. its already eough work just retexturing them.. but then to edit the model. besides what are the benefits of a short barrel in real life??? doesnt that decrease range?

i woulda wished this addon was'nt just one simple guy, cmon expand.. make these units use weapon from S&E, or BAS's weapons.. or INQ's.. (PAA of course)

i like the bullet holes idea... doesnt really matter about that stuff it adds to the thing being all beat up and looking good.

what unit does this guy belong to? hes gotta be pretty elite and crazy to go in by himself.. an M4 with M203 wont do the job, hell need a OICW and a Commanche and the skill of all his enemies down as low as possible to pull that off... but sounds like fun!

Welll.... its beeen along time i was just wondering were there going to be any updates?? lol.. this had to be one of the most satisfying addons ever.. not a bunch of people ask add this or that.. but i do have some suggestions after watching trailers of Full Spectrum Warrior (Xbox) and for you MOUT freaks out there (me inculuded) this is the game god made for us... heres somethings that can be improved
- Dirt Textures, soldiers are very clean.
- More Detailed and Bigger Kneepads.
- Changeable Unit patch
- Kits for Different Soldiers (Medic has medic pouches, Automatic Rifleman has special vest, and grenadiers have grenade vests.)

Addons like that are a rarity these days. Partly with the advent of newer computers, but I think it's also an ego thing. Addonmakers have become... attention mongers to an extent and just add copious amounts of detail to attract attention I think.Just look at a lot of the redundant addons out there for weapons/vehicles/etc. They just keep outdoing one another detail wise.
I totally agree with you.... lol the addon makers try to get as many pages in their a&m complete threads as they can.. with praises of look at this and i like this.. but in the end only the original addons stay on hard drives. (Bas, Suchey & Marfy) anything else looses its "Cuteness" quick. i personally value a equal balance of alot of things. so in a newer version of these humvees id like to see
- more detailed interior
- new sounds (engine & Browning)
- Wheel detail (make em look dirty!)
sounds are a NEED im sick of the bis sound.. it doesnt even sound like a gun it sounds like someone knocking on a door.

The island will be done in a week or two and thats why i think to release it without the campaign so ppl will be able to try it this summer Â
thats really good news, it wouldnt hurt to release the beta get feedback from everyone about bugs, or things to change/add and when the campaigns done you can release the final version, but youll be helping us to have fun on the beta while u guys work on the final. THERE is no other good URBAN Desert map for flash except tonal and well its too big.. i get lag even in the editor on that map. thats why im looking so forward to this one.

what kind of missions can we expect on the island? from what addons?? i hope you use HYK's Modern US Inf hardly any missions with those guys...

the problem is not scripting or addons its that a game about civil war is boring!!!! infact anything before WW2 was boring, WW1 was boring, Civil, Revolution, maybe the early early early battles were interesting because movies were made about it like Troy, but otherwise no one wants to play a civil war game... bring out the full auto and tanks then were talking!

somewhere in this thread i read NO LAG AT ALL and using Tonal objects??? count me in for downloading this... ive waited so long for someone to make a medium size island with tonal objects, Tonal is too big and lags so much for lower end pc's and Tonali 1 is too small for a bunch of missions, gets boring after two or three... but a nice medium sized one is better!! thanx

im interested in the Ah-64 you have in this pack, did u consider releasing it as a stand-alone for people who cant use your mod? pretty pretty pretty please... sorta like a special like you did with the regular bis cars.
