Just thought id try to make OFP a little more realistic by using real radios for ya guys.<span id='postcolor'> Do you put on some camo clothes and paint your face too? To make it feel more real you could also take you computer to a nearby forest or desert depending on what island you play. How do you simulate being wounded? Do you hire a big guy that smacks your face everytime you get hit? So this is cheating in the reality OFP!?

A magnet could pull or push metal from all directions. Â I would need something to stop it from doing that, only alowing it to pull/push in one direction. Rubber or possibly ceramics could do the job.<span id='postcolor'> That's unfortunately impossible. You can't remove the magnetic force field, you can only redirect it. If you add some form of dielectric you will affect the rest of the characteristics of the magnet. The total magnetic flux through any closed surface is zero.<span id='postcolor'> I don't want to remove any of it. Â I want it all redirected so it can be forced into one direction.<span id='postcolor'> You can't.. or maybe you can in theory? but it would require more energy than the redirection would produce

They do however also lose energy over time due to gravitational irregularities.<span id='postcolor'> A machine spinning at a constant speed do not consume energy in a total frictionless and vacuum world. Â Why is that so impossible?<span id='postcolor'> You will use at the best the equal amount of energy to make it move as the electro magnets consume. But the the machine will produce heat which is a form of energy, sound which is movement=energy, light=energy etc... You cant make something produce more energy then it consumes. Bis bmp's vs new bmp's

Why do you need so many different addons? It takes a life time to find all of them. Maybe it's a good trilogy but with all these different addons it's a bad mission pack.

    C&c generals goes gold

It a great game, much like the first C&C. But I really miss the russians. The muslims have anthrax, terrorists and crazy mobs. USA has the best units but they cost most. The chinese have propaganda centers and a big big big tank that I guess will rock when supported by missile launchers. The muslim scud storm covers a big area while the americans use a particle cannon that only takes out one building. The chinese have nuke missiles. It's a very american view of the world but it's just a game.

It does sound like a good solution. I will do two models, loaded and empty. But don't hope for too much. It will propably end up as a crap.

    Crossbows...

I was thinking of making a crossbow for OFP but I'm not that skilled so it would propably end up as crap... But there are some skilled addon makers here who could maybe do them? Crossbows were used by special forces during WW2 and even in Vietnam. They are perfect stealth weapons cause they make hardly no sound and do not create a muzzle flash or smoke. But the main reason why I would want them is cause damn it would be cool to nail a few enemies

    Crossbows...

This is what I have done so far... I borrowed some SVD Dragunov parts. I will keep that buttstock but I'll make a new optic. The textures still remains but it's not too hard to do them, it will mainly be black composite material which is quite easy to do.

    Crossbows...

Can someone make a config.cpp for a crossbow? I don't know much about cpp's... It should mainly be like kegetys rpg-7 but the difference is that it should be held like an ordinary rifle and the rocket/bolt should act like a real bolt. I guess this wouldn't be too complicated for those who know how to make a cpp. I would also want to learn how to animate the crossbow so it looks real. Any good tutorials?

Hmm.. I am doing one also Let's see if I can make it work. If you have done a config file I would gladly wanna see it I am not even done with the basic model so it will take some time until it's ready. But it looks good so far

Armed dune buggy (minigun) by m s holder

It will make the game lag. Just the minigun has more than 1100 faces at LOD 10.000. That's 15 times as many as a T-72 in OFP. Edit: A small mistake had to be fixed

    Aeomisc released

The burning houses are great But is it possible to make soldiers die if they run into the flames? Also it seems like every soldier is a natural fire fighter The best thing would be to make the houses burn when they have received some amount of damage. That shouldn't be impossible to do. Some molotov cocktails could have some script that made the houses burn without receiving any real damage. Keep on the great work!
