I made a mission last year, well was in the process of making it, and it had all the rating detection.
I wanted OFP to detect when someone on my team killed an enemy soldier, and when the soldier was killed, the person that killed him would say a random thing, such as "Got 'em!" "he's history" "goodbye" etc...
The sounds were from Ghost Recon.
I unfortunately lost that mission when i re-formatted.

Well, i tried that, and unfortunately it didnt work.
I went into Windows Sound Recorder. Opened up the file and lowered the volume by 75%.
re-coverted it to .ogg, and the volume is still loud as fuck.
Ill give it a go in another program.

Alright.
I just played an MP mission which had a custom weapon and ammo selection screen thing.
Now, you had a certain amount of ammo/equipment slots, and you had to assign your ammo/equipment wisely to each slot, as there were a limited amount of slots.
Well, what i need is a similar interface for my mission.
But, what id like is to have a skill point/money/weapon buying system. I know this is possible, but i dont know how to do it.
For example:
This is a Single Player mission BTW. Anyway:
You start the mission off with a Glock, and very poor aiming, health, endurance and a small amount of ammo.
Now, this is a hosatge rescue mission, so for example you save hostage 1 in under 2 mins, then you earn $100, 5 skill points and 2 equipment slots.
Next time round you save him in under 1 minute, so you get awarded skillpoints/cash/slots accordingly to the time in which you did this.
And as you accumulate more points/money/slots you can upgrade you character mid-game, or next time you play.
For example:
Upgradeable Skills Are:
*Aiming
*Endurance/Health
*Stealth
How will the Stealth work? Well, as you upgrade your Stealth, enemy awareness is lowered, therefor giving the effect of you being more stealthy.
How will aiming work? By lowering setdammage.
How will Health/Endurance work? Same as above.
Now, with cash you earn, you can buy guns, ammo, equipment, weapon upgrades.
How can there be upgrades? Simple. The XM Aussault rifle has no scope. But there is a version of it WITH a scope. So if you upgrade, youre really getting the XMS.
The Glock standardly has no silencer, but there is one availiable.
Slots. More slots you earn, more stuff you can carry around.
Now heres the biggest question of all:
Is it possible that the mission can save player Stats?
So if you finish it once, you can go back and play it again to earn more things, therefor giving extra replayability. For example, all the guns/points/slots wont be availiable first time you play, but the more you play, the more you earn stuff, and can try the mission different ways.
I also want to have it so you can buy Save's.
I know that it is all possible (apart from the last questiom, which i have no idea if its possible).
I have already finished the mission. It was actually completed a while ago (its called Davidian). But now that OFP has more functions availiable, i want to incorporate them into this great mission, to make it unique and more fun to play.

Heres the prob:
I have added LOTS of custom music and sounds to my mission. BUT.
I added the sound of fairly heavy rain (as OFP's rain is barely hearable), and i have music playing the background.
How do i reduce the volume of the Rain sound, but make it so it doesnt effect gun shots, explosions, ect...
If i put 0 fadesound 0.3 for example, then it ALSO lowers the sound of everything else. Which i dont want.
The rain is so bloody loud that the music is washed out. The music is ESSENTIAL in this mission.
ALSO...
When you walk into a house in the mission, ive got it so that it has a rain sound simulating rain hitting windows and tin roofing, ect..
BUT. When i exit the house, that same sound still plays.
Anyway how do i stop the sound when i exit the house?
Help is needed as soon as possible, as these are the ONLY things that are keeping the mission from being completed.

I've been hard at work on a new Vietnam Mission, The Flames Of The End.
Basically, it has you, and 7 other men. All up 8 dudes, split into 2 teams of 4. Both are assigned to rescue mission, in the village of "Ple Ya Bo", or whatever it is called.
"Why are they going to a village" you're wondering. Well, read on. VC entered the village and murdered most of the civvies, and left only a couple alive, to burn to death in the flames (hence the name "The Flames Of The End"). But, if youre good enough, they wont burn to death, they'll be saved.
Here's how the plan is to be executed:
Both Teams will take 2 Helicopters, 1 heli per team. Team Alpha (you) will be dropped off in the village, whilst Team Bravo flies around the area keeping any threats away whilst your team gets the civillians into thier chopper.
Thats basically the Plan. BUT, who says the mission always goes to Plan Â

You'll just have to play it to see what happens, and luckily enough for you all: -
It's FINALLY up to the BETA stage, and im in desperate need of some Testers.

Yep, already did the SmokeShell thing. There are 4 shells all up, and every 60 seconds it re-creates them. (they only smoke for 60 seconds)

EVERYONE who plays it cant fault a single thing with it, apart from the gay as fuck intro, by the little fieg 'KillerKid'.
