  1. ok mando yet another request for you. Is there anyway we can have the spectre gunship config for the recon in mando bombs (woops wrong section). So we can call in a gunship and use all the recon stuff but with the side guns etc.

    Well I have done the first bit. The C130 can be used as the Reco plane ..... unfortunately it has the hellfires and not the gun sad_o.gif

    It will need Mandoble to work his magic here. It most certainly is a 'fix' for the single pilot problem and no loitering on-station.

  2. Noooooooo .... don't turn off that ability. It's wonderful. All you have to do is put effective AA in your mission. I know that having 4 SAMs firing at you is an EFFECTIVE deterent to entering an area. That's why I send the grunts in to clear them out ... THEN I have my fun!

    @colligpip - that's a wonderful idea ! It would also get around the circling an area problem !! PLEASE let it be so Mandoble.

  3. ahh that may be it I'll just have to level out properly rather than come in at funny angles :-}

    Actually, Mandoble, is there a way to level out the aircraft?

    I know you have the clever work-around of keeping the aircraft pointing in the same direction without losing height but it would be nice to have the system 'looking stable'.

  4. Actually I think I have found the same thing with the sidewinders. At first I thought I had put the launch point too low, but it seems that it is a speed problem.

    I have now a port of Evoultion V3 MHQ Unranked if anyone would like the updated version. It DOES require the server to have USEC_C130 addon but that is all.

    Can't wait to get rid of my obsolete version, Mandoble !!

  5. Damn, that's a shame.

    Would be so great for others to 'see' the rounds flying through the air to target! Will they not even see the craters in the ground but only the detroyed vehicle etc ?

    On last thing. How can I set the number of rounds fired by each weapon (I have the light gun (25mm), a heavy gun (40mm) and a very heavy gun (105mm))?

  6. Looking really good Mandoble. Accuracy has indeed been improved - well done !

    What I'm having a little difficulty is squeezing it into Evolution - there seem to be conflicts in cfgSounds and in RscTitles. Any solutions to this (as I can't even hear my SAMs - *sniff*)

    I hae included all the *.h files in description but it just isnt working.

Now that Mandoble has scripted the AMAZING MMA2.35beta where we can use the USEC_C130 as a Spectre gunship, what is needed is the scripted ability for the aircraft to enter an autopilot around a central position keeping the left side pointed towards the enemy. I know that Mando Bombs does something 'like' this but it is really for the reconnaisance aircraft. It would be good for any aircraft (especially the C130) to orbit a set position (while keeping constant height, constant bank)

    Possible? Any scripting gods out there able to sort it ?

  8. OMFG !!!  You have just made a C130 SPECTRE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Well done Mandoble.  This is just amazing.  I have found the H gun VERY accurate but the L gun very inaccurate.  I wonder what the reason is for this?  I'll have a look at the code but I can't see it being different for each!

    I am just about to go back and check the AV8B(GBU) and the A10.  

    Oh one thing - when using this in a MP environment I wasn't able to see the rounds from the Gun Cam hitting the ground.... I take it that it must be run on the server and each individual client ?  Would that explain the problem?

  9. hang on you mean to say you have lost your copy of falcon 4 that is Sacrilege :-)

    Have been using all the new 'toys' in Evolution and it's working well, except I cant get the sounds to work or HUD up (even the TOWs wont work !wink_o.gif. I have tried to merge RSCTitles and cfgSounds stuff together but there must be a conflict. May need a little help with that.

    This is just a case of playing with the 'missile' settings. It's all configurable. You can even have a bomb arriving on target a day later smile_o.gif

    I was thinking last night about the camera system you have in MMA. It should now be possible for someone to make an Apache Longbow (with the radar dish on top of the helicopter) and it function properly.

    PS @colligpip - haven't uploaded anything to youtube yet as your versions are all great. What I am doing is to modify Evolution so that all aircraft/helis have the new MMA2.35beta - looking very good so far !


  12. Can I just say that I have had BRILLIANT fun there using these scripts and a GBU Camera.  Works perfectly with vehicles and remote targets smile_o.gif

    PS the only thing that would be WONDERFUL but probably unworkable is to be the pilot AND to give yourself move orders (and fly to them) with Shift-click smile_o.gif
