VBS1 Lite and Australians in Vietnam
kernriver replied to snoops_213's topic in BOHEMIA INTERACTIVE - GENERAL
If it gets released it'll be sold via online shop for sure, I think. yes, and that would be here then when/if the time has come: http://www.virtualbattlespace.com/store/ If that's the case, i'll have to start to harass some of my friends that have credit cards... -

Question: will these two games be released over Internet or...? I don't have a credit card so i would like to buy them in a store (for cash). -
Both.

I think i'm gonna tatoo that on my forhead: "I'm buying ArmA!"
-
I don't bother with ArmA release date too much. There are some RL things to attend to aswell. And there's also OFP, SWAT4, Raven shield...you name it.
-
If ArmA would be delayed for a little bit more, maybe i could earn some money for TrackIR in that time...
-
Oh s**t, i didn't get what he was trying to say, LOL. I thought Colossus was talking about buying ArmA and was joking about it...well, that was a good joke, atleast for me
-
I liked H&D2 system because it had stamina. If you carry to much equipment, you get tired quickly. I think that should be in a game like ArmA.
-
I hope it will be in ArmA too, so i don't have to buy that rather expencive TrackIR...
-
Honestly, i expected ArmA to be OFP 1.5 and nothing more. But this... Thank you BIS! Question: do you guys know if there would be "fluid posture" feature, something like analog leaning without TrackIR, just using mouse and keyboard, like in Raven shield? @Colossus: i'm not sure i will buy ArmA, i'll have to wait and see this game's further development...

My favourite is Platoon Director: Oliver Stone Actors: Tom Beringer, Willem Defoe, Charlie Sheen Year of production: 1986. War: Vietnam war Story: Chris Taylor (played by Charlie Sheen), an idealistic student who had dropped out of college, joined the army, and volunteered for Vietnam. His idealism and view of war in general rapidly changes during the course of the film. Film is based on Stone's experiences in Vietnam, also there's Dale Dye, retired USMC captain (served in Vietnam), and a military advisor for the movie (he playes cpt. Harris in the movie). There's also a goof when a character in the movie (Bunny) listens to the radio. On the radio there's a concert of Merle Haggard (look at my signature ), the year in the movie is 1967., but the concert is from 1971. Oliver Stone, i will never forgive you!

Nope, that was Eric Bana Actually, his real name is Eric Banadinovich (or Banadinovic), he shortened his name for obvious reasons, it's too long for showbiz. His father is a Croat, thus the strange surname. Waaay OT, sorry

Sorry, i thought i'm posting in another topic

I recently bought (again) Rainbow six 3: Raven shield. Graphics are awfull (by today standards) but the gameplay is just great! I got hooked again, i play it all the time! I'll take gameplay over gfx anytime...

I agree with not knowing how many bullets you have in your magazine after some shooting, and the other thing? Hm...it could be done, you actually could forget how many full magazines you have left, and you would have to take a quick look in your inventory. Would that be enough to get you killed? Possibly. I like it. Heh, tnx Stuntman, for you just made me realize something that i didn't notice before, and i play ofp since 2001. It's about the "click-click" sound when you're out of bullets. Since i've only used AK47 in real life, i'll stick to that. When you're out of bullets shooting with AK47, there's no "click-click" sound, because the fireing pin is "locked" and when you pull the trigger, there's no sound at all. I just tried it in Editor, of course you can hear the sound. Well, lets put this on a wish list: i wish there's no "click-click" sound after you empty the magazine. (atleast for AK47, don't know about the other assault rifles)

Backpack would be a nice thing. Hidden&dangerous 2 had a great equipment system IMO. Something similar in ArmA would be great, atleast for me. Edit: Of course, if you carry to much, it will slow you down etc.
-
Correct me if i'm wrong, but i think that you have to upgrade to v1.96 with a patch. So, AgentJonathan, you will have to download 1.96 patch, i think ofp.info is the best place for that (look for Patch 1.96 Final Release)

Thanks BIS. Live long and prosper! I just love the cover!

I am a big country music and bluegrass fan, and my favourite singer/artist is Merle Haggard. One of his songs is called Kern river, it's a river in California where he grew up. Since i like his songs so much...well, i called myself Kernriver! For folks who would like to take a look: http://www.merlehaggard.com/ Keep it country!

As i said on may 29th, the article is awsome! Of course, i saved all the vids on my HDD. The reason i'm writing this is: Dslyecxi, i hope you would edit your article and add Armed Assault in it (ironsights, weapons recoil etc. etc. observations) when it's released...i wouldn't have anybody else do that kind of precision work but you!
