I wanted to preorder a few copys from amazon.co.uk, but they won't ship to Croatia. Â Do you guys know any other sites where we could preorder it? I would rather do it this way than to have to buy it from a retailer in Zagreb, those people are thieves!

Yes you are right . Standrd comment on youtube : I dont like this game , its has bad graphics or " did you see the graphics on game x , it pwns this game or " epic fail at graphics " .... To paraphrase: "Graphics? We don't need no stinkin' graphics!" Â Well atleast not as a main feature. Â

I've stated some time ago in the other thread that I wouldn't mind if ArmA2 came out in late 2009. It wouldn't hurt to be sooner than later, but still... Let them finish the game, I say. Â

Just the other day i wanted to buy Left 4 dead on Steam, but imagine my surprise...it's 45 Euros. Which equals ~63$. Hell, i can get it from Ebay for 53$ (shipping to Croatia included). Shouldn't it be the other way around? IDK. I'm getting L4D from a store, that much i know...

I'll buy it because it will have good infantry simulation, features that I was waiting for (medic, suppression, reloading while walking etc.) and good gameplay (just an assumption though). I'll buy it because I don't want a "script-fest" gameplay. And because I like BIS. Let's face it, I love this game! Of course, I'll buy OFP2 if it provides the scope and features CM is promising.

Yep, The_Captain, i saw that screenshot, but i wanted some "hard" evidence. Yesterday I finnaly downloaded videos 1 & 2, and in the second video there's reloading while moving and even a reloading animation, if i saw it correctly. Never mind animations, although good for immersion, they are still just eye-candy IMO. But reloading while moving is a big step forward, considering gameplay. Â EDIT: I will take further discussion about GC videos to the appropriate thread, since i was constantly OFFTOPIC

You mean specific animation for each weapon ? Because there obviously will be reload animation, including reloading while moving. Animations for each weapon (moving parts of the weapon), AND reloading animations for each weapon (made by soldier), that's what i mean ( i know my english is horrible ) Did you see those animations in armabase.de videos, or was it confirmed by official channels? I didn't download the videos yet, so i can go along with just the information i know...and i didn't read anywhere that BIS confirmed those animations. As i said, i couldn't care less for these animations (yeah, right ), but if those were in the game, i would be more than pleased.

Suppressive fire is the most important feature in ArmA2, it's the core of infantry combat IMHO (i think it's confirmed, isn't it?).

He just didn't know that USMC is using Abrams tank (i didn't also), and he spelled it wrong, so what? I really don't know what equipment USArmy or USMC uses , and i'm sure not many members of this forum do. (i only use what BIS and moders give to us, i don't know nothing about it...well almost nothing) Although, Rawr, you made me LOL. Site looks good, i like it. There really isn't any information on the site than an avid ArmA2 fan wouldn't already know, but still, it's nice to have it all in one place. One thing I've noticed in "Briefing" tab: Authentic weapon simulation "Bullet ballistics and deflection, material penetration, real-world magazine capacity, tracers, ammunition types and stopping power." I don't remember anyone mentioning officially (from BIS) that there would be reload/weapon animations, so i guess we can consider this official, no animations? Don't get me wrong, i'm not suggesting or demanding (or whining ), just asking. I won't be dissaponited if they're not in the game, but i'd be pleasently surprised if they were, so i guess it's a win-win situation for me.

Video was OK, but there's one thing that bothers me: In the CQB portion of the video (at ~9:47min), why didn't that guy (AI) that died on the street just climbed over the fence and took cover at the corner of the house? If he did that, i would've wet my pants...

Although it seems, by comparing those two pictures, that Arma2 has the upper hand at the moment, it doesn't really bother me. I'll buy both games anyway...
