You can't make a ODOL file into a MLOD file. Impossible. This is because the ODOL format is 100 times harder to decrypt than the MLOD format. A-lone-wolf (author of P3D2OBJ) could only decrypt the MLOD format. I suggest you don't complain about this, since he put a lot of effort into the tool. And it's not about how many has the demo or not, it's about the file format. The only place you can find MLOD files is in the first demo (Version 0.36) and these are the files decrypted by A-lone-Wolf.

I said I would be the bigger man, and I will. The people who Scorpio has hurt he most are the guys on the DKM team, and I feel that it's them he should be apologizing to. In private that is. If all of you feel that he is a big liar and you won't download anything he makes, don't post in his threads. PS. I am NOT defending him here, I think he's been a real a-hole by doing this. I'm just saying that picking on him doesn't make things better. It just lowers you to his level.

I'm sorry if I offended you. I do not know everything behind your dismissal from the DKM team, so I won't talk about that anymore. And I really don't believe in my theory, I just posted it to trigger you to tell us the whole story. BUT, why did you take a C-130 pic from them and show it as your own? This is one thing that I can't seem to figure out...

Well, Oxygen was used to make all the .p3d files in the game. So technically it's .p3d editing. The reason we can't edit the models from the game, is probably that BIS doesn't want us doing it. They don't want people just opening up their models, adding/removing a few things and claim it's their own.

Are you suggesting that BIS re-code the game? Or someone on the outside? Because I do think BIS will frown on somebody ripping their game apart and start changing things around.

I saw a thread where Scorpio admitted that he was 13 years old. I think we may have found our explanation. Here's my theory. (From reading in this thread...) Scorpio wanted to be on the DKM team. But they said no, since he wasn't good enough. Or he was a member and behaved badly, which lead to his kicking off the DKM team. He started a thread about the LST54 here, and one thing lead to another and suddenly we were all talking about the C-130 he was making. (Or so he claims) He saw his chance for revenge, and posted pics of someone else's C-130. Pics he stole from the DKM team. He got caught, and needed an excuse. He quickly stole some more pics of other aircrafts + a bus. (Which I can SWEAR I have seen someplace else, on a very official game developers homepage.) Then he put them up on his webpage. He then claims that he stole the C-130 pic, and these other pics are his, he made them. There, my conclusion is: Once a liar, always a liar. Scorpio/Rob/Devil could not handle rejection very well, and see what happens.

Like M|N|ON said, not possible. The only way is to open up a p3d, shuffle the vertexes and faces around, then stuff it all back into a pbo file. That's how Evis made his Huey

It all comes down to the crew manning it. Without a good crew, both the Leopard 2 and the M1A1 are just two very heavy roadblocks.

That won't be happening. Well, a bit bigger. But the total size of the playable area is 12.8 x 12.8 kilometers. That means 163.84 sq. kilometers that you can use. Anything outside this box, will be endless water. Head over to http://ofpinternals.megaforums.ru and download their "West Leach Spring 2". Then you can se what happens when you try and make the land extend beyond the box. Is this making any sense at all?

That bus will never make it into OFP. Look at the screenshot again, that's one insane amount of polys.

Can you tell us how the Paladin will work? How will you fire it? Will it be like the standard tank cannon, or have you solved the whole arty problem? PS. The model looks awesome!!!

Why is that? Is it because the animations are hard-coded into the game engine? How does it work in O2?

Considering that the RPG-7 is older than the RPG-Nh75, it should have different specs. Besides, the AK-47, AK-47CZ, and AK74 in OFP have the same specs, but they look different...

Weapons - Small arms. I.E rifles and so on About the harrier. The addon I was talking about, was a completely new model. It looks great, and it will be imported into the game with Oxygen.

I'll have to check my www.fas.org sources, but I was under the impression that the Harrier was a so-called "aircraft". One that is already being made by other ppl here on the forum.

You may also have noticed that nearly every vehicle in OFP has some sort of "cosmetics". I think it's becase BIS didn't want to have all the details in the textures. They wanted to give the players something real to look at...

When you tell me a good reason for putting USSR and US troops in the same plane, I will agree that this is plane is a good addon to the game. And as for the tank dropping thing. The only tanks that you can do this with, fits inside the C-130 and smaller planes like that.

Correction: The Bazooka used by american troops during WW2 was a "Rocket Propelled Grenade" launcher. I.E an RPG. It launches a grenade strapped onto a rocket. Sort of...
