in experience playing, markers off outside the city (in the edit markers are on in all cities and towns) really doesn't make it much easier for civs. only the rich terrorists can afford to go offroad to avoid the "security cameras" so it really isn't an issue at all (especially in 1.10 with dearer vehicles). the civs cant stay on the lamb forever without having to return to a town, especially in 1.10 where u need food as well as fuel etc.

its not too bad with the 60 second refresh outside towns tbh, but it really throws cops off by this I mean rather than have to use their intuition to gage the suspects movements after say a bank robbery, all the cops now just look at the map, drive to the civ marker then scratch their heads when the marker appears somewhere else 60 secs away ... imo it kinda takes away the cop rpg element & strategy during chase.

they raised the money? meh. i liked the new money scheme in 1.10.

ya i cant wait for 1.11! about the lag, could it be the 60 second marker refresh? ppl report its lagging when you enter bagango, is this maybe because the 60 secs is suddenly switched to 5?

hmm i can't be sure, but as i had just spawned, i was probably buyin the usual kit of phone, stun gun, flares and fish

i was at the cop station buying fish from the item shop. i bought the max number (6 i think) and when purchased it said on screen u have spend xx money and have $scalar left.

great!! any luck with the bug i got were it kept telling me I had $scalar left instead of the money amount?

I like the hunger alot, just needs tweaked a little. how about letting civs buy a tent or something for overnight stays, no weapons or anything, just food lol also .... bring in water :P and cops shouldn't have fish ..... they should have doughnuts! let a civ run a restaurant or doughnut shop? maybe they get a mortgage and have to pay daily bills etc. and set the price of their product to compete with other stores give other civs tasks to get ingredients for food shops and they can then sell them to the shop owner at best price = competition between civs on who makes a profit let civs be able to hold up stores for cash etc. maybe put a silent alarm trigger on random to the cops so they can respond

will it take long for the bug fixed version? i just joined my server to try out 1.10 some more to find that the players have reverted to the 1.02 version ... and of all the SL servers going theres only one playing 1.10 and its empty :S

nope when i was playing other said they didnt have lag just like myself when others were complaining of lag, so it doesnt effect everyone

another thing about this lag problem is that it doesnt happen to everyone. on my server myself and other players didnt experience the lag moda and other players were getting. i joined another server and got the lag there like moda describes, others too and some players said they had no lag on that server as well strange :S

k ill ask players what they doing if it happens again edit: we having problems with roadblocks, any time a cop uses one its stuck half underground. edit: got another error, i just bought 4 fish and it said after my total spend "you have £scalar left"

it was the same sound mr gc provided for the edit too for the later version.

seeing some bugs, seems nearly every other time a civ goes to jail the heli wont land for them. also everyone on my server just got an error message null object, error invalid number in expression

paying for stun guns ( 14k ! ) is stupid! if anything they should be free and real guns cost money. u must put stun guns to free, it would to decrease civ deaths considerably

i gotta go back to last version of SL everyone on server seems to hate it and demand to go back or just leave for another 1.02 server. this has happened twice in the last 30 mins ... 32 players lol and one group staged a protest at civ spawn

we did have mostly crappy cops though

im guess that was due to poor/crap cops tbh, because you can always see people entering drugs etc. also "buy drugs" message is a random thing, you don't always go red.

he crawled out into the bushes into my bus then I drove him to safety :P next time if u see a civ bus sitting there, u know its relying information on cop positions

u missed the point, they edited the edit - without saying or asking like we did on this forum. ofc they can use it, its the missing "server curtosy" thats being frowned on, so i gues we know what to expect from the owners of 5th from now on. the only sirens is in our jt edit, and we left it at 16 players because thats what isseta and fewo built the game around. yup ^_^ its been back to 45 mins the last few versions. (bye the way u said u having probs with keys on my server?)

no prob glad u had fun we need more players like u to be honest probably would in this case as the mission goes on for quite some hours, once 26 hours straight, so a tweak would prob be needed to the permanent thing. about prison, i was saying to terp the other day, why not make a permanent prision (not jail) for spree killers. on my server the only way we can deal with spree killers is warn them that they lose rules (like new life rule) etc, but theres no way to stop them. what if civs had a limited no. of kills/red lives or something, and when they go over the limit they are sent to prison (not jail). prison could be one of the islands way down south, and to make it fun, have weapons, some vehicles etc. so the spree killers can spree kill each other until they're sick of it, but they can't escape unless they swim, and if they die they respawn at prison until they are released (set time like 30-60 mins?) but more civ missions are difently needed. at the moment im playing civ, just working as a bus driver earning money by shuttling around the civs to shops etc. its all good rpg fun really.
