Please lord have an X1950 PRO ... Downloading now =)
-
yup, i dont have an Nvidia card so i cant test it myself on that particular card... But im pretty sure setting it to application controlled is the best way... the control panels simply override + "force" the setting ... forcing probably isnt good... Although the control panel approach does seem to have more flexibility over it ... with 8x/16x multisamping etc etc and possibly you will get a better graphic quality, but i cant tell But for performance, always use application controlled.

Cheers for this dwarden, i'll download it tomorrow when i get home!

It can decide the terrain detail setting for grass i believe... and the view distance. but some maps allow u to change it client side by menus.. for example in RTS 4 AFAIK thats it... but there might be smarter people around who will tell me im wrong

Illegal 10 digit id error while Legal PLEASE HELP
Jack-UK replied to {9thInf}Winchester Delta1's topic in ARMA - TROUBLESHOOTING
FYI: I did look for the original post, as i understand that it may not be 'official' if that guy modified it or anything like that. But unfortunately after checking the date of Suma's post (1st July i think) and going back through the threads in the multiplayer section, the threads have been pruned since so i cannot get it. But yes a breif sticky about 10 digits being illegal would be good -
Try it yourself.. but usually its better to set control panel to "Application Controlled" and set the AA/AF ingame p.s. added the SecuROM fixed EXE to the first post + thanks dwarden for all your additions!

I would LOVE a completely new damage model... but i doubt BIS would actually do it.

They will fix more than that... the list is never complete... 1.08 had more fixes than that.

My game randomly does this sometimes aswell for no reason. A reinstall of the game usually does the trick though  Yup, its really irritating, it does it to me too sometimes. Take out your modfolders and everything and stick them in a temp directory. Uninstall the game, delete the ArmA folder if anything is left behind. Reinstall the game, patch, paste your mod folders back into the ArmA folder and it should run
