I changed from win7 to win10 (upgrade, not clean install) and no performance impact. Do you have tried lowering ingame texture quality or raise swap file and fix it to a constant value? My value is 200% (16GB) of system ram (8GB) on ssd. -

With fred´s malloc tweak its a difference like night and day in sp and mp. Without I get in mp (same full server, same layout, same spots) often 24fps minimum, fred´s large pages enabled Its never below 37fps :) -

Whats about the lack of midrange textures? When I deactivate the little nice texture-mod from badbenson (500kb lol) I have to laugh. Its not a question of eyecandy. Arma3 looks so natural overall but this milky creamy ground at midrange is horrible and a immersion-killer.

I wasn´t able to run my realtek onboard audio on the asrock z77 board in headphone mode, sorry. Nevermind mate, i got a workaround reverting to your dragonfyre 1.1 update like described.- 1214 replies

Seems that the too loud panwee is only on my rig so I made a workaround and copied the heli configs from 1.1 back into mainfolder. my other mod´s: -badbenson´s midrangetextures -solano´s reshade. rig: soundblaster x-fi, cmss2 headphone mode, headphones with flat frequency response, no equilizing/no bass-boost @ineptaphid Whats your pc sound equipment?- 1214 replies

I don´t like the screenshots with steam because I use higher brightness, lower gamma values ingame plus reshade. Steam neutralize these custom values so all screens are washed out.

Please take a look into the panwee sound. Start as soldier and spawn a panwee 1000m away in flight modus: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR!!!! Its waaay too loud :D- 1214 replies

Yesterday before midnight I tried to join a server and the dxgi.dll plus afterburner´s statistics server tool was blocked by battleye. I contacted battleye support. 2 hours later I got a mail all problems are solved. I made a test and voilà , it worked after midnight 1.30 am. Impossible to play without your reshade version, solano :D -

To be hypercritical as always in the video example of soundocclusion only the higher frequencies have to be lowered in volume by the rock. Here how it should sound (the first 30s of the video) from the godfatha of echo, tpm:

Hey Lordjarhead, i found the problem, it was caused by a huge windows10 update. It unchecked an option called "deactivate soundblaster extension". If its unchecked, it seems windows transforms stereosignal into headphone mode and after that my soundblaster x-fi transforms this transformed signal again :p so it sounds more inverted/less punchy then it should do. With the following settings I have again really nice results: gunshots are punchy and loud! :D -windows set to stereo -checked "deactivate soundblaster extension" in windows soundsettings -soundblaster set to headphones + cmss-3d-mode. like the title says weapon shots (mx, katiba and so on) have no punch. Settings: x-fi headphone mode + cmss 3d plus headphones, win10. It was perfect with the new 1.56 main update. Now its ruined like before 1.56. -

Hey thanks for the quick response again :) I found the problem. At the same time hotfix for arma3 released my win10 made a huge update so a little change of the windows sound settings caused the sound bug I described. The "Soundblaster extension deactivate" has to be checked, look on the screen red circled left. My theory is that it had doubled the headphone mode so stereosounds are less punchy. -

Hi razazel, no luck after checked the integrity. I think there is something changed in the mainbranch hotfix sound engine related with the stereo weapon shot sounds in first person perspective. It sounds like one stereo channel is wrong polarized. The higher mids of the frequency (for the punch) are "subtracted" so only the metallic highest pitch is loud, the rest flat. -

I think this mainbranch hotfix ruined the punch of the default weapons shots and in the consequence the punch of the weapons of this soundmod too. It seems in egoperspektive the stereo shots are inverted now, like one channel normal, the other with inverted polarity so there is only a pitch in the high´s. @LordJarhead Do you can confirm this?- 1214 replies

Since the hotfix from 3.3.2016 for 1.56 default sounds and this soundmod sounds complete different. No punch of shots anymore.- 1214 replies
