Im wondering why cant the pistols be added to the other 2 campaigns. I mean they managed to add the vulcan and the Hummers to the first campaign.

Just think of GTA3 with 1st person mode, realistic weapons, big cities and stuff, most of the stuff required can be done with loads of scripting, probably Â
.1st Problem: Big Cities, wrong! i have seen a screeny of a large city with very tall buildings, there are loads of car models around and we the Map maker thingy and O2 to make these new structures, obviuosly including the tw@ internet cafe
. Of course only a selection of buildings can be accessed and the ones that you can enter only ladders and big openings should be used to stop the poor(ish) clipping from kicking in2nd prob: Traffic, i wreckon it could be done, similar to the Multiplayer respawn, the traffic and pedestrians, disappear and enter around you. This equals the view distance setting you have and limit the number of people and cars around you to keep things running smoothly. When you dye, you simply respawn around the hospitals. So the closer the view distance, the more spread out stuff is. Oh and make the cars explode instead of crumple in, it looks better
.3rd prob, easy death for you and only 3 weapons max
Im sure you could make your health similar to a tank, not as stong, but you get the health bar and energy at the top, similar to armour and fuel for the tanks, the energy is for sprinting and gradually replenishes or you buy a drink or food to replenish it.
And weapons, well im not sure if its possible, but make your capacity similar to a Ammo truck or somet, and when looking at the gear menu you get this sort of layout
    WEAPON          PRIM MAGs    SEC MAGs
e.g    M16             M16 mag     Mortar
                     x35        x12
the number telling you how many mags you have for that weapon.
Prob 4: cops chasing you when you go riot, im sure this can be done with triggers e.g you shoot a cop, and for a minute other cops around the area come and chase you, these simply respawn randomly along with pedestrians and other vehicles. If you kill another cop in the meanwhile, then more cops will spawn in the area and eventually getting to the SWAT, FBI and the Army.
I wreckon it can be done and even without my idea of the inventory system it will still be good
So do you think it can be done?
I kinda think so.

Please give in your own ideas that could make it work, instead of a simple yes or no

Nope same trigger setting as the A2, safe, semi, burst theres only enough room for 3 settings on the reciever, no the A3 has the 20mm Weaver rail on the top instead of the carry handle, although one can be added, the rail can attach tons of scopes to it including the Advanced Combat Optical Gun Sight or ACOGS

On the RPG7s the rocket can't be seen in 3rd person mode then when you switch to the weapon it suddenly appears, it didn't do this in V1.0. I know its nothing serious, but...
I dont know if you know about it, but if you do then ignore this.

Also would you mind telling us what you are working on now
, I personally would not mind a VSS Russian silenced sniper rifle

I think it would be ace, a mass assault by those little greys with flying saucers and your all entrenched with M16s and stuff, with AH-64s bringing those UFOs down. With green blood and wierd alien screems.

. Sounds and looks pretty cool rifle, It would be a good addon for OFP, prefer the AS though. Although the De Lisle seems mediocre now, please take into account its around 60 years old and was one of the first silenced rifles around. -

There is no pic for the Strela AA launcher ammo or the green smoke grenade in the gear menu, maybe a couple others.
When the hangers at the airport on Nogova are destroyed the AI can shoot through them at you with perfect accuracy, you can shoot through them. When crouching or laying prone on the concrete base of some structures you vibrate up and down the radio mast does this and the barns on Nogova, it may do it with others.
Sometimes the reflection does not work on the weapons you have t press alt+tab and then go back to the game for it to work properly
While this is not a bug it still annoys me, the AKs still have burst fire mode, why? they dont in real life or is it so the AI dont use it like the XM 177 i.e in single shots all the time

Ive read 300-400m from a number of sources, not 50m. And the VSS is a 9mm, the De Lisle is a .45 ACP

what about the mm1 and 6g-30 thing the drums rotate on them, same with kegs revolver pack. or am i jabbering on about something else?
