African milita, south american forces and terroists
jotte replied to bibmi's topic in ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Having CIVILIANS to go with these very promising add-on charachters would be nice. They would help set the mood to the right geografic area for the missions. -
IIRC the FS 2002 models have a very high polygon count so it would be accctually easier to rebuild it from scratch then to do a mundane polyreduction. Textures could prove usefull though I think.

Great!! Now we can "play" the SAR packets when one of my friends or me go down over North Korea in Falcon 4...

Chomps, IIRC the Falklands mod have a video of the Harrier showing just what you are asking about.

This russian soldiers would be nice

Really a must have for any winter/coldweather Soviet/Russian pack. -
Excellent work! Adding a M249 and a M240 and a modified M203 along the lines of SEBNampack 2.0 (grenade "bags", a more accurate maxrange etc) would fit my wishes perfectly. More weapons can be added later or released as separte files just as Miles Teg say imho too. Don't try and cram in to much into the pack. We want to see it "soon". Â Â

Ooops i better not have editing open while testing Might have been me that had the wrong version befor by accident. I've been doing more tests now and while not perfect (what is? ) it is very much imporeved overall in v 1.1. Kudos to the creator for the rapid update. Hope he makes a just as nice T-34/85 and a Panther tank and maybe even a KV-1.

I'm perfectly aware of what model it is. The fact remain that instead of being modelled towards "immunity" (which it really wasn't either due to variouse reasons) to the Pz IVF's KWK 75L24 it is now just as immune to the modern 125mm guns. Â A 84 mm RCL takes it out in one shot but the tank guns don't do much damage. And the tracks should still be possible to damage easier with even the Pz IVF's "puny" gun. Right now it is more of a KV-1 then a T-34 in regards to tank guns. Did some more testing now and now all of a sudden the T-34's nicely sucumbs to the 120 and 125 mm guns. Looks like I might have had a freak occurance with my previouse tests.

It still have a Star Wars deflector shield. It takes an abnormal amount of 120-125 mm shells to knock out at point blank range, something the Panthers 75mm made scrapmetal of from a rather long distance already back in WW2. Very nice 3d though so I hope the creator fix the DM.

There is now a v 1.1 of the T-34 but as far as I can see it suffers from the same buggs as the first version released. The little bugger withstands several AT-3 missiles from a BMP and 125 mm shells (both SABOT and HEAT) from a T-72 without any noticable effect, just jumping a bit from the explosion Toke 6-7 rounds minimum to even disable track! I really hope the creator dismantel the Star Wars deflector shield it carrys now as they 3d modell is very very nice.

Snow from a recent snowfall on roof/enginehood etc would qualify as "winter versions"

This hoovercraft will sure make some currently "missing" mission opertunitys become possible. I'm partial but I prefer this one though

Could you please do both an Aimpoint and an ACOG version of the SR-74?

You should see these guys models for IL-2 Sturmovik. They are really magicans. Haddock, do you feel like helping me on a little OPF project? If so contact me via the e-mail addy over at IL-2 Center. Regards /Jörgen, IL-2 Center Admin.

Nice. If "And, if you make the gun accept original AK47 mags, it will turn into a original AK47, just with your model." is true then: Making it accept AK-47 mags and it at least becomes a "useful eyecandy". If you use special mags it will be "useless" eyecandy since the point of it accepting 7.62x39 will not be of any use in OPF.
