    WGL Missions of the Month

I can make a pretty decent cooperative in like 5 hours. If using a template I can make one in like an hour I can make an A&D scenario in like 2-4 hours. If using a template I can make one in 20 minutes. Those are pretty much the only type I make. Can I submit missions which I made a while ago and don't have much publicity? If needs be I will update them enough to make them new

    The Middle East part 2

"would you kindly point out the exact point at which my English failed me?" Yah, why not. I stated this: "it is quite reasonable to assume religion is once again the cause of death. It is a complete farce." To which you replied: "saying that all religions are a farce is just arrogance on your part." Summary: You took my declaration of the situation as a farce to mean that I think all religions are a farce. Wrong. Take Two I stated this: "I see little real comparisons to the events of the 1940s and today. In the 40s it was pure genocide, today it is border disputes leading to terrorist acts, a rebel movement and an occupying army." To which you replied: "Jinef, you make 'rebel' sound so noble. Only problem is - There's a difference between a 'rebel' and a terrorist." Summary: You completely ignored my acknowledgement of terrorist acts in the area and honed in on the word rebel like a rampant right wing lunatic. Conclusion: You need to read and think a bit more before typing darling.

The unprofessionalism is part of the package with the US military. They might not even be military, but civilians. Who would be even more unprofessional.

They've been saying that since 1948.

Yup, it's biased. Not sure about your opinion on the analysis though. I don't see much analysis. The problem being that the people with the best resources to do all this research are in the USA. As quite often sensitive information which you could never get out of any sensible country pours out in yank-land. Politicians and military officers often leak little bits of stuff to further their agendas etc. Also many Americans are quite incapable of looking at anything military without a huge dose of political strings attached. So as always take it with a pinch of salt. The book how to make war offers a simple guide as to what people do on the battlefield, how they do it and the weapons they use. The author tries to be objective in most parts but his pro USA sentiment slips out in some areas. Also, he only started the website. I don't know if he constantly adds to it or what. Maybe it is another guy with stronger political opinions.

    Sombody is Getting Married?

Q: Why do women get married in white? Eh? Eh? A: To get used to kitchen appliances. Sorry, tasteless sense of humour. I blame it on the military and the NHS.

    The Middle East part 2

Once again your basic English fails you, not your fault. I will explain. You are correct for once in stating I have no way of knowing if god exists or not. Because of this I will not go jumping off cliffs expecting god to save me, I will not take human life on the belief I will be favoured in god's eyes. I am agnostic as well. May I ask what your secondary reason for being Agnostic is? Too much of a slut to wait for marriage? Don't like the idea of getting up at 07:00 on a Sunday? Can't be arsed working out which direction Mecca is? Surely not knowing if God exists either way is a bloody good reason to not kill people in his name. How typical. Maybe in some years you will realise there is no black and white, just many shades of grey. Cretin.
  10. Ideas: Standing and Aiming Controls Default Stance: Weapon in carrying position. Weapon Up: Right click once to raise weapon. Sight in: Right click twice quickly for iron sights. Movement: Default Movement: Weapon in carrying position. Fast Weapon Up Movement: Weapon Up. Fairly Quick. Sighted in Movement: Weapon Sighted In. Slow

Maybe if god loved everyone as much as people claim he would open the fucking skies and with a big stern face say "stop fucking killing each other you complete numpties". As it is, there has been no divine intervention and it is quite reasonable to assume religion is once again the cause of death. It is a complete farce.

    Best of First-Person Tactical/Wargaming

Maybe someone should do something similar with all the helicopter games/simulations out there :P So far the best for me would have to be: Apache vs Havoc & Commanche vs Hokum : - Gameplay Flight Simulator 9 : - 'Feel' of aircraft Longbow 2 - - Systems Simulation - Realism It is dissapointing how overlooked this genre is really.

Kaka, you should know better. This guy has an axe to grind and the 'military' commentary he offers is nothing more than a journalist could offer. I am afraid the really good military commentary is in books, which you need to buy.

    The Middle East part 2

If we want to compare this to the Northern Ireland troubles then maybe the Pro-Israelis on this thread can comment on this: Would it be justifiable if the United Kingdom's Royal Air Force carried out a bombing campaign on New York City in order to discourage financial aid to the Irish Republican Army? Surely the United States of America would have no right to retaliate because the United Kingdom is targeting terrorism and refused to persue the terrorist's funding themselves. Does this sound completely fucking insane? This could never occur because the United States has the military power to deter any such unjust actions. Lebanon has no such military power, only diplomacy. Israel is not doing this because it is right. They are doing this because they can.

    Zeus Gaming Nights

Hahahhaha, sorry mate, it sticks. From now on your celery. As for the disorganisation Rabbit mentioned. It is a hit and miss affair on Zeus. By no means do we do organised gameplay 100%, more like 40%. Also different people have different expectations of leaders and mission organisation. Once you have played in like 5-10 Zeus Nights you should have a good idea of what to expect. Our worst is really quite dire, while our best is probably miles ahead of any public server. Please don't give up on us just yet

IRC log removed by Moderator. The extract I posted was from the official channel of OFP-Zeus and was showing several zeus members and affiliates chatting random shit. It was not representative of the entire OFP-Zeus community. It was however representative of one aspect of the Zeus community, the IRC channel. I am not happy.

I think the USA doesn't really mind the status quo as it is. Keep a very high profile conflict in the middle east attracting lots of people who want to be Martyrs and keep them away from Mainland USA and Iraq. Oh shit, too convenient and simple too be true...

As uncivilised and un-diplomatic as Looz's statement was. I agree.

    The Middle East part 2

#1 Your argument is based in truths however you disregard several important events and opinions. I cannot agree with the history portrayed by your source. I offer this site for further reading. It's axis is fairly neutral, advocating neither Israel nor Palestine, and portraying them as both in the wrong, if anything. From the media sources I receive and my understanding of humanity, I do not see how the majority of Palestinians if given the choice of living under peace, or live under warfare; would choose warfare. I know you will disagree, however without being there and talking to them, and without relying on heavily biased media sources, the logical approach is to agree that like any other body of people the Palestinians want peace. #2 It is quite futile using hypothetical statements in a debate. It just delays the opponent as they have to create a response like this: "If the British Empire had the SA-80 rifle 300 years ago then potatoes would cost $6 each!" Seriously, the UN has proved itself quite useful in many places throughout the world. It is to be far improved for sure, however it is on the right track. As for the middle east, it is quite impotent. Israel is too powerful a world player to let a democratic organisation like the UN to meddle in it's affairs too much. Just like the United States. I am afraid that is a truly horrific option. Goverments tackling terrorism (Nice alliteration huh, I should be a speech writer) around the world have found time and time again that when you kill one terrorist, 2 replace him/her. It creates an exponential growth in support for the terrorist's cause and on a large scale the only way to stop it is to kill everyone. This is why in the classic military victories of old, like Troy, Babylon etc. The attacker once inside the city would kill every single male, then rape and kill many women, and chuck the babies down the wells. Fantastic strategy, unfortunately not viable in today's world. QUESTION 3: Do you see the fundamental problem in killing every single terrorist? QUESTION 4: How long do you think Israel can support the current level of occupation? Edit: It took me an hour, on and off, to write this. Pitiful. Yet an indicator of reading time and thought processes.

I apologise for accusing you of such a thing. That question was left in the post accidentally and was out of context. I removed it while you were replying to it. Good answers, standby while I come up with some reply.

I will make this very clear so there is no contention. My sympathies lie with the dead, and their living relatives. Some basic definitions: My = Me, Myself And I. Lie = To align with one entity. The Dead = Dead people, of any race, religion or nationality. Living = The opposite of dead.
