You guys think they would hire a 16 year old for that island maker position in Orlando?

I think the size at which I have it now is big enough. Any bigger and it would get laggy and would also take me ages to complete. Atleast this way I can get it done and release it then if I feel like a bigger one I can copy and paste that into it and already have a lot of it done.

I was thinking about making our own buildings. I have a few good ideas for some. Low Poly ones Low Poly open ones with only windows for snipers in them no way to real get to them without setpos (dont really like that but if it comes down to it may have to do it) and several others that im keeping to myself

Mine does the same thing only they are more of larger hills. And the roads disappear over the top of them and the river when it reaches the end does a weird S curve thing so you cant see there is ocean there when looking from the normal map. Its kind of cool with roads leading off 300 meter cliffs into the ocean... its going to be fun. (although you are not ment to see those but people who enjoy jumps can go off of them)

Basically you just make a square piece of land that reaches all the borders of the map. Mine touches 3 allowing one ocean on the southern end. There is one river going up the middle with two smaller ones that don't really lead anywhere branching off from it. There are also lakes in the west. Mountains along part of the southern coast. Names will be based on The Czech Republic as well as buildings if we ever make any new ones.

There already is one. Hasn't been publicly released yet but soon it should be. Someone I know used it in the Mission Competition. It was quite fun.

Wow, I completely forgot that he told me about that. I don't know how either. Well originally no one was helping him. Had people helped him out a few months ago when he wanted it half the stuff would've been in the game already. -------------------------------------------------------- Anyways my thoughts on all of this. The community is split up into two groups. 1.) Those who want detail. People who want units to be (really)high poly and really good textures so that they look perfect but you can't have as many on a map (on most computers like mine) 2.) Those who want to have large number of units. People who want to have Battalion size battles on islands with huge numbers of units. Most people who want the VBS stuff are in the first group. --------------------------------------------------------- I don't even know why I just said this but I think ill post it anyway might explain a few things for people. Took all that time to type it anyway.

Maybe someone shouldve helped out NZXShadows when they had the chance seeing how the USMC mod was making tons of the stuff that you can get in VBS. And the reason stuff in VBS is more detailed (or so I hear) is because the engine was slightly improoved to run with better details (dont know if thats true or not).

Im not positive about this but im pretty sure this is what I heard. Within World War 2 Finland was invovled in 3 seperate wars 1: Finland vs Russia 2: Finland and Germany vs Russia 3: Finland and Russia vs Germany I think that is accurate but feel free to correct me if im wrong.

Its not that hard to find out what everything does, its just a little bit of trial and error and if you really need to translating sometimes.

I think Stoyan would win (the one guy in the resistance campaign one of victors friends, sorta) Alright he really wouldnt but he was a cool character along with Koswalksi. I think Troska would probably win. Him or Lukin.

Ive been able to recreate it several times with these. Once on Tonal and several times on Everon, wanted to see if the ground protected against missiles, and it does, just not very well.

Id call it more of a bug than anything else. Mainly just because the plane sinks way below the ground when it does that. Stills kind of cool though.

Anyone else get the bug where you can land without landing gear down? Was able to land on Everon airfield without putting my landing gear down and the plane kind of sinks into the ground. Found it accidently when landing autopilot failed to put the gear down for me (which is what im used to) then the plane kind of hit the ground and sunk. Also the wings can go through trees... I think maybe all wings can go through the kind of tree it hit i dont know might want to test it out though.

AI in english is AI, but I think it probably does mean AI although i can't be sure.

There was a pack released by airwolf mod of Defender 500s I think there should be atleast one unarmed version in there. Don't presently have a link to it though.

Kelly's Heroes that is a good movie. I also remember one I think called Toy Soldiers, not really a war movie but its about a bunch of kids at a College that is taken over by terrorists and eventually Delta Force or someone comes and rescues it. Just remembered it from when I was a kid. Red Dawn and A Bridge Too Far stands as my favorite.

I would have to go with one good one. Two is always a good thing so that if you don't like one animation you can always have another but I usually like anything new.

Exactly what I was going to say. I work at a movie theater so not only did I see it for free I saw it when we were testing it the night before it came out. I thought it was okay but could've been better. When it got to the point where the girl and the predator were alone after the huge blast another employee behind me yells out "If they kiss im leaving" thought that was kind of funny.

try waiting a little bit sometimes the truck is a little late.

American forces requested armor and AC-130 Gunship support but it was denied (or so I hear).
