Somethinjg wrong with the Acog in ARMA
Iroquois Pliskin replied to BOROVIK's topic in ARMA - GENERAL
Pathetic @ post. But anyways, Fekin-Detri is right there are far more things wrong with ArmA so we shouldnt really be whining about ACOG scopes or what not. We should wait till a final or a decent patch is released which fixes performance and then once the tools are released bring things like this up. VBS1â„¢ & VBS2â„¢. If one to start comparing, there would be 100s of these threads. And yes, indeed, there are far more things wrong with arma, and one of those things is the community (for the time being at least). -

AI is fine, you should play berzerk mode and experience suppressing fire from 3 positions while being behind a truck and eventually once of the bullets ricochets and hits you in the nutsack, and then, of course you will be heading back to BF2. Â

why the obsession with evolution co op?

Berzerk. Rest is for pussies. -
'Get in the truck, darling, I've got candy.'

TANKS 1. Can't turn off engine while operating the tank turret. 2. If you are moving forward (left, right, backwards - doesn't matter) and switch to gunner spot, the engine keeps running and the tank will spin out of control. (spinning round and round indef. until you take driver's spot).

The PSO-1 Scope is a masterpiece and so is the SVD sniper rifle.

OPF2 (fcking dipshits with name rights) from codemasters will be a BF2/GR arcade warfighter clone. Mark my words. Â Did I say that it's going to be released on consoles as well? Â Â Â What a fcking joke. If you're true to what you are and what you enjoyed over the past 6 years, you will stay neutral at best. Don't believe the hype. 'Screenshot' is artwork by the way, main scenery at least. -
Responsive? Â Â It was a lagging piece of shit. Current system is ok. Seems like some people are simply too ignorant for discussing serious topics in puplic... The Splinter Cell system was exellent and I'd love to see it in ArmA Only if your reaction speed is 2 seconds.
-
Movement control needs to be realistically responsive, not overly responsive like arcade FPS games that have player accelerations of hundreds of Gs; 0 to 30km/h in 0.01 seconds. The time it takes to use the mousewheel to scroll up to full speed is a realistic limitation of the human body's ability to accelerate from rest to a fast sprint. I'll see how fast you can accelerate your body and produce movements when bullets start flying above your head.

Self-respecting admins won't abuse the system, this is not cs.
