I also want to emphasise regarding ACE2, that there's no need to "join the ACE team" to produce material to donate to ACE2, or that simply is made ACE2-compatible. It is very good with stuff that works with ACE2, but how large should the ACEX part of ACE2 become before it's out of hand? :) More modules like the ACEX_PLA one I'm all in favour for and other ACE-compatible stuff. Just want to cool down the hysteria a bit ;) -
M16A2 M203. Ironsights and 40mm grenade launcher attachment can kick so much butt. Alternatively the PKM since it's accurate to about 800-1000m.

You'll have to be much, much more specific as of what kind of TvT you are talking about. Every single island out there is outstandingly good for TvT. Just depends on the type you want to play.

Nice or not, sometimes an addon IS better than another one. In this case however they are designed so differently it's a matter of taste. ^^

I don't really know how doable that is, but if it's not doable, couldn't your fancy muzzle flash be layered on top of it (like the 6-finger muzzle flash from the M16 for example, getting a pretty particle effect over each finger)? -
GL4 does so much more than special effects it's a question if you want the whole package or not with all AI-changes. You can get GL4 with WarFX effects and GL4 AI, but you can't use GL4 without the AI-stuff. Personally I prefer WarFX, but only you can know what special effects you like more. Download both and try.

Because the "land" part is already part of a string you need to have double citation-tags around it, making it: g1wp1 setWaypointStatements ["true","_AShelo1 land ""land"";"]; or g1wp1 setWaypointStatements ["true","_AShelo1 land 'land';"]; (a single apostrophe is the same as double quotation-marks). For each 'nested' string you'll have to add more citation marks for it to read the code properly. -
Well, all he has to do is to add a variable for weight and a variable for volume as far as I know (might be more, so best check the ACE2 wiki or with a dev) and it'll be fully ACE-compatible :)

Looks you are right on the ejection port of the 30mm.Only opening I can see as well. ---------- Post added at 08:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:33 PM ---------- Found this link: http://www.atk.com/customer_solutions_armamentsystems/cs_as_gs_m242_25mm_b.asp Says the M242 Bushmaster has forward ejection, which I assume is the ventilated pipe below the barrel as seen in the picture, and since both the LAV-25 and Bradley uses that gun you got two more vehicles nailed :) -

Lovely map tools! Will there be graphical interface for it as well, as with Spooner's drawing tools, so that it's easy to choose what one want to put on the map without having to remember a gazillion more keybinds? :) -
Logitech MX510 (voted MX518 since the 510 has the exact same shape, just a worse sensor). Had it for 6 years or so now. Will probably upgrade to a 518 when this dies.

First they need to test by script to actually time the bullet travel time versus the correct time IRL for same distance of travel, then they can start making tickets :) Stopwatches and a hunch doesn't cut and is a waste of developer time to even look at :P

What are you talking about exactly? They are used to extend the rifleman's range and efficiency BEYOND 150 yards, so that he can reach out to 300 yards without problems, which usually is a terribly difficult (practically impossible) range to actually hit a target in cover at. Why would one want more than 1.5X magnification if just wanting the optics to be used at 100 yards? 3X-4.5X combat optics are specifically designed for extended reach. And the reason ACOGs don't have to be adjusted, is because they have a range scale. You zero them at one range, and the range scale fixes the bullet drop compensation for the shooter on distance. Just aim according to scale. -

For the wounding, don't use ANY of the standard first aid modules if you use the ACE one. It completely messes up damage and healing. As for the AI I can't help though :( -

Unit init lines are run before init.sqf afaik, which means that a script precompiled in init.sqf won't be compiled when you try to spawn it. Just name the leaders of the squads, like "cityPat1" and then run the script from init.sqf by nul=[cityPat1,"town","move","reinforcement","delete",600] spawn MyPatrol; -

I like both. For the specific purpose they are designed, and sure - they could be combined to get the function of both in one and the same tool, but it'd still be one part of the tool for "general updating" and one for "specific server versioning" which makes it kind'a redundant to put them in the same tool to start with.
