Update: At the moment we are working hard on the EDF pack 1. The pack will include an upgraded version of the infantry with many new variants and their own set of weapons. The UR-416 with it's variants will hopefully also be in the next pack but it still needs some serious work so no guarantees. In the pic you will see we updated the heads with Llauma's head models and Offtime's faces. The soldier is using an FN MAG from SJB's weapons pack which is a placeholder till we have our own machine gun. Click on the pic for bigger image

This is more an issue between Vit and all other addon makers Maybe he didn't because he just did not understand the whole sh*t in that "open source licence" crap? That's not an excuse. Everyone can "steal" a whole model, even you or me or whoever. Again: If he says "my addon" he maybe just means "my work" or something like that. I don't know Vit but he's not that stupid to steal someone's work which is well known in the community just to declare it as it's own work. Yeah right. Everytime he takes a model of the internet, tells everybody over here it's his, gives absolutely NO credit to the original author and when he releases it it's like "OMFG Vit you're the man". And this is exactly what pisses other addon makers off. He's taking credit for something he didn't even made himself but just took from other addon makers or a freeware model on the internet, while the real author who spends hours and hours working on his addon gets absolutely no credit. And you are the most openminded guy here in the forum eh? Sorry again, but if I check your comment in the OFPL Extension pack topic I would say it's more something like: Vit made a mistake (and yes, maybe he did due to his not so good english), he's "famous" and people like his work but no one gives a sh*t about my addon - now let's go and give him what he "deserves"? Sorry but I feel exactly the same way as Offftime. This is just a completely retarded comment

If he would have repected the addons and the authors, he would have asked permission first or at least given credit. Complete disrespect for other peoples work sure keeps the community alive

I make addons for myself in the first place and I can garantee you that 80% of the addon makers agrees with me on that. I make something because I would love to make one or see it ingame, most of the stuff I make doesn't even see the daylight, because I think there's no demand for those.

What on earth does that mean?! It's not the first time Vit is involved in a case like this I just love that we can have such mature and reasoned discussions on this forum. It gives much more statisfaction when you make a complete addon on your own instead of just ripping a 3d model add new textures on it, make a few changes to the model and poorly credit the original author. But I don't think some people get that or else we wouldn't get comments like this: Offtime posted feedback some posts back. I find it very hard to believe that noone answers your PM's seeing how many stuff you made/ripped/retextured/released.

If he would ask permission then he would have been left alone. Understand that when you are using other people's work or parts of it, you always have to ask permission first and give the credit they deserve. The original author may have spent hours and hours of work in his or her addon so a little bit of respect to the work of the author would be nice. You understand that?

Wait till the T55 with the Tatu Guard comes in the town. Stick with the T55 and try to defend it against RPG's. Also breach the entry of the city with a Frogfoot airstrike, this way the BRDM and UAZ will survive for maybe a couple minutes longer
