Another reaction from within the government but still no or little reaction on the street...

I have been told that these cost arround 33 000$ US without the electronic. These compagnies aren't near to be bankrupt, they must can afford this APC. But in real-life i think they dont use the GAZ 3937 cuz it's Russian made, not the same engineering and replacement parts may be hard to find or can't be easily provided by the manufacturer. They don't use them because the RG-31's/Mamba's are just a lot better. And I don't think the GAZ 3937 is available for export yet. Plus the Mamba/RG-31 uses Unimog parts which are widely available all over the world. I was told that a mamba can survive the blasts of 2 TM-62 AT mines detonated at the same time. I don't think the GAZ 3937 is able to do that. And where did you heard it has less off road performance? Their off road performances are pretty good but just really uncomfortable since it's very bouncy ride. And one mounted machine gun ain't a problem since it has hatches on the roof which allows the crew to fire from the hatches. But we do want to keep it realistic don't we I am working on a RG-31 model by the way. It's far from done and I don't think it will see a release soon since it's still only a very basic model

I only saw a part of it so I didn't got the exact details, but the idea sounds pretty idiotic to me Don't think we should take this claim seriously but that guy pretty much made an ass of himself. They said that they had "the weapons to fight a war". It totally cracked me up

Look at my edit I recall codemasters being called the publisher for god-knows-how-long. I think they said that at the last E3 too. They didn't say it on last E3. Publisher was back then "to be determined" we heard Codemasters would be the publisher in the 30.9.2005 press release.

Who said they don't have a publisher yet? I mean look at how fast OFP:Elite came out. The date of the BIS press release (Elite going gold) was 14.10.2005 and a week ago it came out in Europe EDIT: And the news of Codemaster being the publisher came out on 30.9.2005 which is a bit more then a month ago so I guess it's still possible it will come out with christmas

Aren't Llauma's heads bound to the faces? I think scripts will not make any difference - tho i dunno really, just think i've read that somewhere. ~S~ CD Offtime made a script which made the faces work perfectly with new models, new textures and new mapping of the textures. This script is included in facetex.pbo.
