I hope this is the appropriate forum for this, as I have no idea where it might better fit. Â Anyway, the problem is one of human error (i.e., I am an idiot), not one with OFP itself. Â I reformatted my hard drive a few days ago and since then have been reinstalling everything, however I've run into a problem with Resistance. Â I've managed to lose the manual for it and it had something very vital in it: Â the product key. Â I've finally gotten everything unpacked again (moving...blech! ) and the manual, as I feared, is no where to be found. Â I have my original OFP manual, the Red Hammer manual, but no Resistance manual. Â Without that product key I cannot install Resistance. Â Is there any way I can get a new product key?

I had porblems using the Alt-Tab method to. If you need to save repeatedly you might find this method to work better since it doesn't involve Alt-Tabing. Just press the Left Shift and the Number Pad Minus (-) keys simultaneously, then type "savegame" (minus the quotation marks) and it should save the game for you. Quicker, easier, and without the irritating crashes I tend to get with Alt-Tab.

31: Suffering from target fixation in the V-80, and consequently flying right into the ground.

26: Carefully scanning the area with your binoculars for enemies before making a run for that LAW lying out in the open, then getting capped by the single remaining enemy soldier. 27: Same as above, only being caught out there when a T-80 or two comes rolling over the hill. 28: Having to crawl all the way to the medic 500 meters away (because of leg wounds), only to watch as a grenade comes sailing over the bushes to land right on top of you. 29: Sneaking into an enemy base and finding out the hard way that the bushes you are hiding in are sometimes run over by that patrolling BMP. 30: Making it to an empty T-80 and starting to climb in, then the enemy shoots you in the head.

I've actually got two questions here, but they are related. I'm making a mission where the player and squad are equipped with the mortar (as in the rifle grenade thing that you can use if you place a West 'Mortar' unit). The player starts off on a hill and another squad similarly equipped starts on another hill, the basic idea is to attack a large convoy that will move through the area, initially by bombarding it with these mortar rounds, then moving in to finish up with small arms (and maybe a few LAWs ). I need to make the AI controlled soldiers stand still and use the mortar weapon until their ammunition is expended. I can make the members of Alpha (the player's squad) sit still and use a particular weapon by using the command menu, but since I've no control over Bravo (the other squad attacking), they charge into the valley without using the mortar weapon at all. I have no idea how I can get them to use the mortar weapon instead of just charging in with M16s (that part is supposed to come later ). I also have no idea how to make them stay where they are and fire instead of getting in quite close before firing. The whole idea behind my using the mortar thing is because it can travel a fair distance, particularly from high ground. Getting in close makes it rather pointless. Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated .
