    I tried again, LJH, and my dedi server, when set to v2 signature verification, will not appear in my server browser with that key. As soon I take it out, the server shows right up. Sorry.

    Has the reversion actually taken place yet? Caf_AG worked fine last night, but after d/ling the update, then uninstalling and reinstalling a few minutes ago i get this: The key seems to be broken.---------- Post added at 14:49 ---------- Previous post was at 14:33 ---------- Follow-up: I grabbed v1.5 along with 2 hotfixes off Armaholic and the included key works fine.

  5. After much troubleshooting I came to discover that a bad JSRS2 BIkey somehow found its way into my Keys folder. Hope that it's sorted out soon.
  6. Seems I'm back where I was yesterday though now I can't even get the server to show up if I select v2 from the rules options. I've tried verifying the cache again, but found no problems, and I've got no mods included whatsoever. This all worked perfectly for hours last night. Please see spoiler below for report. Thanks.
  7. OK, so in the interest of following up in case other people run into the same issue, the integrity check indeed yielded one file that needed to be replaced. That done, I was able to connect to my dedi once again.
  8. Hi Dan, Yes, the AI, if too numerous for your system, will def impact your FPS negatively. Going into large towns is another major cause of lag as well. Unit caching is one way of minimizing lag as it allows your CPU to not have to work as hard when units are some adjustable distance from you. I'd also look into perhaps dropping your view distance a bit and see if that helps.   11. Hi Tophe, the versions are the same, and I am not including any third party addons to either my server or the client Arma i'm trying to connect with.
  12. Not so fast. Since this last update I can no longer connect to my own dedi. With no addons selected on TADST or my updated version of Arma 3, I'm getting the following whenever i try to connect: Wrong signature for file C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\addons\air_f.pbo. I don't want to run this server without v2 signature protection so any help will be greatly appreciated.

  14. I'll try asking this in another way. There's an addon version of the Virtual Ammobox System (@VAS) which, when it's run client-side, allows the client to use any weapon/item they want as long as there's any kind of ammo box available to them. This is all but destroying any semblance of balance on my server and I could really use some help blocking them from running it. Thanks.

  21. There are a bunch of threads on this very topic. Basically, you'll need to make sure you've got all the necessary ports forwarded. Ports 8766, 27016 and 2302 did it for me.

    Bp, it would help if you named exactly which ports you've forwarded. I just myself finally sorted out my router and was able to host for the first time since the update.
  23. Hi Angus, Just forward the ports Fatal mentioned above and you should be fine. You can check to see your server by right clicking on your Steam icon (on your taskbar when you run Steam) and selecting "Servers" from the drop down list. Make sure it's filtering for Arma 3, and if you've forwarded your ports correctly, you'll see your server listed, and your friends will see and be able to join your server from right there.   25. Hi all, 99% of the time when I try to host a game from the setup server screen, it locks up, forcing me to end Arma via the task manager. I've tried with my firewall disabled, but this doesn't help. This problem has existed for only the last week or so, and so i'm wondering if it's a gamespy/steam server related issue. I was able to host games last week without issue. Any help would be appreciated.
