How about HL CS? That doesn't require as much "thinking" strategy but it still requires skill. And it is still considered to be a game about "realistism" FPS counter terror game among mainstream game players. Also, bunny hopping has been basically elminated from the game do to the fact that people were abusing it and that is not how the game makers intended the game to be played. Basically when you jump, you land and slow down, like you are recovering from the jump. And you can't jump high anymore. They are very limited.

Also, a really good reason why alot of "special operations units" might use the same weapon types of their enemies is that using the same firearm used by a certain military or country can confuse the enemy soldiers into thinking their are being shot at by friendly forces accidentially. Makes them hesitant in returning fire. They get fooled because the muzzle flash looks like another "Russian" weapon for instance. They might even say, "Hey! hold your fire, we're Russians!" instead of returning fire thinking that it is an accident. And it confuses local forces as to who is who.

Well, actually, since you are a "special forces" operative. You would propbably have any weapons available to that you could want. USSOLDEIR11b would know about this. Â In fact some of them are trained in every weapon firearm known to modern man!! "Spec Ops" soldiers are not restricted to their certain weapons, and have alot more leeway in what weapons they take with them, and usually won't be asked about them. These "special operations" guys get to avoid alot of red tape!! Wouln't be surprised if Navy SEAL's or Army Special Forces guys went to do assignments with AK's or any other nationalities main military firearm simply because they liked them, or they think that it would better suite the mission!

Why is my "Black Ops" thread about calling Special Forces "black ops" locked? Noone really gave me an answer to my "Special Forces" question yet. Â Except for one, but that was just opinion because he said that "black op" sounds cooler. Why is it locked?

Cool! But can we have the option of choosing our sniper rifle? Like between the M21, and the Dragonuv! And give all the Rangers caps, not helmets. I think I've only seen pictures of Rangers wearing caps, not helmets. Hell, why not give them all green painted faces too?? Then they'd surely all look like badass Spec Ops Ranger guys!!

I have been getting pretty annoyed with hotmail in past little while! Has anyone noticed that they have recently been making it so that you must keep a very little amount of messages in your inbox or it will lock down your email or delete some messages? Now I get a new message in my mail box every week to "buy more space!!!". That never happened years ago! So now I must resort to making several accounts to forward my important "keeper" emails to so that my account doesn't get locked down, or worse, they delete my emails!

I don't remember that ever happening to me. I don't think I ever got that message unless I started shooting at enemies. I remember setting up a Carl Gustav man on the big hill targeting the scud, and having him hold that position for a while until I crawed back to the woods near where you start and then telling him to fire.

No, that only happens if any of the enemies notices you.

Err, KingBeast, shouln't you get some proper training about that thing? I dunno much about guns, except for that you should know as much possible about them and have good training before you handle one.

Also, suppose I am not a resident of Colorodo. Would I still be able to go in there and get like say an M16 or MP5 without a permit if I were 21?

REALLY?? Cool!! I wanna get an MP5!!! Ofcourse I don't see the practical value of guns other than hunting and defence. Oh well. Maybe one day an angry tribe of cannibals will try to attack my home!

By the way, this all happened when I was first playing OPF. I don't suck like that anymore!!!

One time I beat a mission after I died! I was playing "Bomber man". I had already taken out the convoy, and was sniping the village. Charlie and Bravo were already alerted and on the move. They moved in and most of them got killed. I ran out of sniping ammo. So I decided to go in and attack the village like a soldier. I grabbed a dead man's M-16. Â The place had been quiet for a bit, so I knew that there must have been very few enemies left. Â I was moving around, and had killed a few guys. Â I as I moved past a building, I got nailed by a soldier laying prone by some bushes. It said, "you are dead" and as it showed me laying there, then a fellow soldier walked past my body and nailed the soldier who killed me! And then it said "Mission Complete" even as I lay there, even with the black bars (they only show up when you are killed) on the bottom and top of the screen. I read the breifing, it said good job and all that. Â And it also showed me as a casualty!!

Dammit, the only interesting plot of quality and potential that happened here so far was Nordin's last post with the man in black and the alien baby! Â Too bad that got ruined to slush before anything interesting actually could have happened.

I think a pickup truck would TOTALLY ruin the atmosphere of the game. It would be like seeing a bunch of hicks driving around town with a shotguns. Jeez, this is a wargame in the Soviet Union. Maybe for a game on American soil.

Wait, I got a question about American law. Can you buy an M-16A2 for personal use? Â I heard that Automatic weapons are illegal. Â But M16A2's are only Semi Auto, I don't know if they really have burst. And what about AK-47/74's? Â Are you allowed to have one of them? Â Because I have heard of people owning them despite the fact that they are fully automatic weapons.
