Heck, also, since the chopper crew bails before you even hit 10 mags. You all probably won't even need to waste a whole clip. Think about that when saying that AI soldiers should not be able to fire at choppers with their rifles.

Ok, sorry to burst your bubbles people. Â But I just did multiple tests. And it takes exactly 10 magazines and about a few extra (about 6 or so extra) rounds from the M-16 to blow up a hind. Â That is both with it on the ground and it in the air. But generally when it is in the air, the chopper pilot will bail out at about 9 whole magazines. Â From what showed from my tests. This means that if you got a whole dozen men with M-16's. Â This means that you can take a hind down if each of you fire at most one whole magazine. And since you really only need a little more than 10 magazines, you really only need ten men firing a whole clip and a few extra rounds here and there. Â A full OPF squad of about a dozen men should easily be able to handle the job. It doesn't take long at all to empty a magazine. Â If you all surprize the hind, it will be down before it knows it is under fire. Â Â Heck, having a whole dozen men is better, you all will definitely not have to go past one whole clip. And having an entire squad is at best. Â I don't see a problem with having less men but firing off some extra ammo to do the job if you are under attack from a hind trying to look for you. Try this yourselves in the Mission Editor if you don't believe me folks.

I wouln't say that I was an immigrant in concept. I was not there to actually search for a living or a home. I was more of a visitor or even a traveler. But yeah, if you want to classify me as an immigrant, then yes, you can. That would apply. I am not blaming ALL immigrants, just the ones that are causing the problems or refuse to accept their host countries cultural values. And you can very clearly see the problems. I never caused any problems. I never mugged anyone or attacked anyone because of discrimination. I got along well with whoever I met there. The dutch folk there were very friendly to me. If I were ever to decide to one day take up some a permanent residency in the Netherlands, I WOULD learn dutch. I would work. I would contribute to society. I would intermingle and allow myself to become absorbed into the cultural norms that are important to the dutch people. I wouln't be trying to cause problems or create my own little neighborhoods to segregate. I would not contribute to any of the social/cultural problems. Although I'll admit, it would be easier for me than maybe some people who come from an Arab country. I already come from a western country, and have no specific cultural values that would really cause many problems. I practice no religion, for now. And I am fortunate enough to go to college in a country that offers a decent education for those who seek it. The point still stands. When a problem arises from a group of people coming into a country and turning the place into a shithole. Something needs to be done about it.

By the way, just read my post that is reposted on page 10 for just an example of what some of the Dutch have to live with everyday in some of the bigger city part of towns.

I'm sorry but I am really curious about what people have against this guy. Sorry Denior, I think you are cool because you are in the military and know alot of military stuff. But I have to disagree with you here. His old party kicked him out because he was a political risk. Not because of ideals. I don't claim to know everything about what is happening to Holland and to the Dutch. But I do know that much of the streets in Holland are in turmoil. It's a miserable condition. I am glad that I do not have to see it everyday as many native Dutchmen do. It doesn't take any special sort of "gifted" sight to see what the matter is there. Just go and spend a decent amount of time there. Maybe even just a few months or more preferably. You will see why Fortuyn is speaking something so many have thought for so long. The Dutch have had a problem with this for a very long time. I am not even Dutch and I have thought to myself on several occasions long before that immigration is an issue that seriously needs to be dealt with in the Netherlands. It seems like a cancer that is eating away at Dutch society. For a long time Dutch liberalism has been letting this go on while making excuses and doing nothing. Many dutchmen have thought this for long before Fortuyn entered the Political arena. And they must live with it everyday. It is almost sickening to look at it. It was not always like this. It needs to be fixed. And quickly.

Toolman, I can understand and empathise with what you are talking about. Especially in the Netherlands. But I am curious about one thing. What if you met one Arab man who did not hate all other religions and cultures, and who was not happy about Sept 11? Would you like him? Or would you still hate him? This question is just out of plain curiosity. Don't think that I am trying to pick at you or anything.

Hey, I'm 20 (turn 21 next October), and I remember the Gulf damn clearly. That's all we talked about back in the 3rd or 4th grade. I am a sophmore in college now. ... Hmm I remember seeing the TV footage, I remember seeing Bush senior on TV talking about the damn thing. In school we were all tought what was going on in the Gulf at the time. So I was well aware at the time. We watched the news in class and the war was explained to us on the maps and chalk boards. Espesially since several of our folks were involved in the war at the time and it was a private school I was attending so they kept us constantly informed. And if my memory correctly serves me, USSOLDIER11B is about my age.

But anyways, that's all assuming it takes 10 full magazines to destroy a hind. I don't really know.

I'm sorry, I don't know how many magazines of M-16 it would take to destroy a Hind, I do know it takes about 21 Mp5's. Lets assume it takes about half the amount of M-16 rounds. That's about 10 magazines. If a whole squad goes burt fire on a hind and empties a whole clip. Â It should be down in no time. Â The hind should go down in about the amount of time it takes to empty an M16 magazine. Â Â That's about 12 men, if you are all well hidden, well, the Hind crew is going to see it's armor being worn down pretty quick. Â It's either gonna fly off in fear, or start looking around frantically to see who is letting lose on it. And it would have to do that pretty fast cause the time it takes to empty an M16 clip isn't long. That hind better react pretty fast.

I don't think I will EVER return to the Netherlands for an extended period of time unless they fix up alot of their immigration problems. Dammit, I can't just read on without posting my opinion! Yeah, Holland has it's share of problems. Anyone who has spent a good deal of time there knows that. I can't count the number of times someone has tried to mug/attack me there. Go to some of the train stations there and you will see crazies begging for money. I had a Scottish friend who lived there for 3 years. Been trying to get out for 2. Recently he had his ribs cracked by some Morrocans who tried to mug him. We would go out to eat at night and he would wind up puking blood in some alley cause he can't get the cash to get it all fixed up before some scum mugs/attacks him again. I go take a walk around and someone is always threatening me to give them my damn wallet. Go into any of the main city centers and don't go walking around at night. Hell, don't go walking around at day either. You'lle still get mugged. Amsterdam, Netherlands is probably one of the worst cities of petty crime in Europe. It's probably one of the worst cities Holland too. I'm sorry, but Pim Fortuyn was probably one of the best things to happen to the Netherlands. It's a damn shame some moron killed him. Someone needs to clean up the immigration issues there. Feel sorry for alot of the Dutch natives who live there now. The place used be a beautiful country some time ago before my time I hear.

A whole platoon of men firing at a hind with their rifles will down it. I did some tests earlier in the mission editor. It takes about 21 whole magazines of an MP-5 to destroy a hind. I'm sure a dozen men emptying their M-16 ammo onto a hind will down it in short time. If the hind doesn't retreat quickly enough. It's armor should wear away fairly quickly, or atleast visibly enough on the pilots HUD to realize that he had better get the hell out of there or lay down some heavy fire.
