Snoopy, I saw it, but I didn't know what to do. Some wierd window came up. Like you said Ralf Wiggum, it is rare, but it happens. Which is why everyone should have one in their inventory. Which is exactly what I have been suggesting. Something to deal with some up close encounters quietly. I'm sure a Black Op could use them. And no reason for the David Armstrongs not to have one either.

I do not beleive the problems lies in guns. The problem lies in obsessed people who idolize soldiers in the military. You have millions of people who want to be like Navy SEALs or Marine Snipers. The military has been glorified. This is why I think that military information and knowledge should not be available to the public. Not stuff on Spec Ops, or anything. Because you will always have the obsessed people who want to try to be cool and emulate them.

I found that article VERY disturbing. Why in the world would a civilian need to know how to snipe?? Civilians should not be taught unless they are prior police/military. There is just no reason for civilians to know how to pick off people at 1000 yards away. Like Col. Kurts said, it's true. Everyone loves the sniper. Everyone wants to be Carlos Hathcock. So you have nuts who think that they are real cowboy hotshots trying to make a name for themselves. Much like our psychopathic friend who is busy now in the Maryland/DC area.

Wow, I'm surprised noone made a game that realistically represents sniping. Maybe someone will make one. Or better yet!! Maybe someone could mod one for OPF!!! That is a really great idea!! Some of you would probably be really good at it. Especially if you know about sniper rifles and stuff. Cmon!

See, Joltan understands what I am trying to say. I not trying to make it like a main weapon. Just something for us all to have. Like just something to pull out if we see the situation is right. It wouln't mess up the game cause it wouln't be a good weapon to "head-on" assault enemies with.

When does OPF GOTY editin come out?? I can't wait to buy it so that I can play RESISTENCE!!!! Plus, resistence will be updated to the new 1.8 somthing patch AUTOMATICALLY from the box!!

Well then, in addition to the knife, BIS should fix that so that you can sneak around really stealthy without making noise so that you CAN sneak up on bad guys. Plus, you can always just get 5 feet to him, AND THEN RUSH HIM. He wont have time to shoot you.

No they don't. OPF is realistic, meaning the enemys vision to spot you has to be realistic. Please stick to the topic about the knives here.

Hi, I gots question. I don't have resistence yet cause I heard it was buggy. And my cousin lost my OPF CD. So I was planning to buy the GOTY edition. This patch sounds good like alot of the things people have been complaining about are gonna be fixed. When I buy the GOTY edition, will the resistence already be updated to the new 1.85 patch cominig out?? I mean right outta the box without having to update from the net?? I would like that since I HATE downloading stuff from the net. Thanx!

See what I mean? It would be useful to have one in your arsenal just in case. You are undetected in enemy territory, you see an opportunity, you slip out your knife and take out the enemy quietly. Cmon people, let us have a knife!

I don't understand people with BB guns or Airsoft guns. Why not just go out and buy the real things instead of these wanna be guns?? So you got a shiny kick ass looking AK74, real metal and all!! Soo cool!!! But it's still just a frikkin BB gun!!! I say just wait til you are old enough and start collecting real guns and take them to the firing range. I mean I believe that in the US, you can pretty much get any fire arm out there if you got the time and the money. Why sit around collecting fancy BB guns that are replicas of real guns??
