What do you mean? I thought that as new patches came out the new shipments of the game that come out would be automatically updated as well. Hmm, I don't intend to have to download 1.90 for OPF everytime I reinstall the game. Especially considering that I have my hard drive reformatted about every two weeks. And I HATE downloading patches from the internet.

Hi, does anyone know when the GOTY comes out? And if it will be patched up to the finally perfect 1.90 patch? I was reading the 1.90 buglist, and it seems as if all the old bugs are pretty much taken care of. If that is true, it would be a good idea to stop making new patches and risk ruining the game again, and to finally release the GOTY edition with the 1.90.

Hmm, 1.85 is soo buggy. Will the GOTY edition be released with version 1.90 later? If so, how could I tell from the box if it is upgraded to 1.85 or 1.90? I want to buy the box when it is up to 1.90 so that I don't have to upgrade. Thanx

I did try "Sniper" with Tom Berringer just last week. While the action seemed realistic. The drama, and the tension between the 2 snipers seemed so unrealstic. Â It was too hokey, and cliche. Yep, the one good ol down to earth simple bush smart Marine Gunnery sargeant sniper. Â And the bad attitude NSA marksman corrupt beaurocrat who doesn't know anything about the jungle. Â Pitted together to form an uneasy alliance while trying to not kill eachother. I'm looking for realistic TACTICAL movies.

Wow, from what I've read here it seems like they pretty much fixed up all the bugs from 1.78 -1.85 etc ... Looking at this thread, most people are saying this patch is pretty good, and there are just a few people complaining about stupid little things or little multiplayer things. I don't play multiplayer so it doesn't make any difference to me! So I am curious, when the GOTY edition comes out, will it be patched up to 1.90? I hope so. And does anyone here know when it will be out or if it is out yet already?

I read on a website that BIS is making a new game called "Operation Vietnam" It is like Operation Flashpoint, only in Vietnam, and we will be able to pick up our wounded and stuff like that. They are using the same engine and all. It should be pretty cool.

Hey, I was wondering with the ability to adjust the view distance with Resistence. ... What has been the longest range sniper kill you have made in the game? I mean the dragunov scope says that it can target soldiers up to 1000 yards. Hmm. So I am curious what is your longest range sniper kill. State the distance and which sniper rifle you used, or M-16 since it is very accurate too and like a sniper rifle too. Oh, and does anyone have any idea when GOTY edition will be out? And if it will be patched up to version 1.90? I saw the bug list for that version and there didn't seem to be alot of complaints. Seems like it has fixed up alot of the bugs and that we finally have a patch that is worth it.

Hmm, I don't understand km, just yards. Â Oh, and I am talking about sniping, using sniping rifles like the M21 or the Dragunov. I don't know about myself, I never really tested myself. And I can't do it now until I buy the GOTY edition since my old OPF game got lost. But I've made some incredibly long range kills with the M16.

Why was Casino so great? I've seen pieces of it and it seems like a silly film, not a serious one. Plus, it has Robert Deniro. That's like hiring a clown to play in a mob film! Anyways, I havn't seen the godfathers yet. But I hear they're good. I've seen Scarface, and that is one ROCKING movie!!

I agree with that Balschoiw guy who said that this game is morally wrong. I don't think the military should be able to use games as recruitment tools. Â War and the military is not a game, and it should not be portrayed as such to youth. Military has long been apart of youth culture. Â I feel this is not good. Â While there is nothing wrong with patriotism, people should not be brainwashed into bias towards joining the military by a comp game. In all honesty, I feel that the military or war SHOULD NOT BE A MARKETING GIMMICK. That means movies and games, even like OPF. Â Sure, I play OPF. Â That is because it is out and there. Â That doesn't mean that I agree with it. The military should not be a source of mass market entertainment. Â It is not about selling things to the public. Â It is about war, and things that we do when we have no other choice. Â The public should not know so much about the military unless they were actually in the military. Â It is a serious thing that demands respect and reverence. Â I always played with GI JOES, and such. Â Only because I liked them and thought they were cool. Â That is about patriotism. Hmm, I ate MRE's before and I thought that they weren't so bad. In fact I liked them. It was cool eating real army food! I especially liked the chocolate cooky. It was a cooky with an outer layer of chocolate. Very crisp. The fortified snack bread was good too. I didn't like the potatoes and beans that much. But the mexican rice, and the beef chili wasn't bad. Hey, anyone know what those two small green squares are that are wrapped in the plastic? They look like candy or something.

I saw that movie. And like alot of other people here said, that was a fucking cool movie!! It was had a perfect but rare balance between being a cool guy movie, and being a romantic chick flick. That's why it is good for both sexes to watch. The entire movie wasn't that adrenaline pumping, but maintained an easy going feel throughout. When I first saw it, I thought it would be cool to be a jet pilot. The entire movie was basically a showcase for the actors and Navy aviators, and less about the story. And the music rocked too!! Hiiighway tooo the dangerzone!!

Don't you people remember what happened on Sept 11?? Saddam Hussein is a terrorist and a threat. Jeez, right after Sept 11, people were talking about how all terrorist scum should die. Now it looks like everyone has forgot and don't want war. These people would kill you and your children for fun because they think that they are the greatest and that non muslim people should die. They are a threat as long as they breath. Jail wont stop them nothing else will. Only their own deaths will stop them from taking more innocent life. We shouln't attack Irak? These monsters shouln't have attacked us on 911 and killed nearly 3 thousand innocents. I say the more of them that we take out, the safer innocent life is. There is no more negotiating. I don't understand you people who say that sex isn't that great. Or especially those who say that sex should not be enjoyed. I think you people need serious help. Hmm, I think so too. I think monitors give off radiation. That is why they are bad for your eyes. This is why I want to put one of those things that block radiation on my monitor.
