    Bush vietnam service record released

If inferior means having a differing opinion than you, then fine. Then you live in a very sad world. If everyone must agree with you. We went to war because Saddam was a threat, and he could use his weapons and power to influence foreign terrorists. In exchange he would get appreciation in the Islamic world etc or whatever the motivations. Even money. Taking him out was the right thing to do. We couln't just leave him in power during this war on terrorism. Terrorists might be willing to make deals with him for weapons and etc. Saddam had the capability. That is deadly enough. You people just don't understand. We needed to do this. What do you expect us to do? Just sit around and let the terrorists alone to plot?

What's that supposed to mean? ? ? ? My opinions are just as valid as anyone elses. Just because you think you are morally or logically superior doesn't mean you are.

    Bush vietnam service record released

The campaign in Iraq is not even over yet and you people are already judging it as a grave error that we are all embarrased about. People arn't noting all the progress being made in Iraq. Schools being built, people getting access to a better quality of life and much more progress. I bet that in months to come people will see a much better Iraq. Then all the people saying what an awful situation we created over there and all this about this Iraq mess will be real quiet. It's not over yet you know. I'm sick of all the people trying to bring us down saying we didn't find any WMD. That kind of talk only hurts us in the short run. Not good for morale. Just makes me sick to my stomach.

    Bush vietnam service record released

Bush beats Kerry by a long shot. Some men are destined for leadership. Bush is one of them. Again, Kerry may be a war hero, but he's not the man to lead the country.

    Bush vietnam service record released

Walker, you are only looking at one aspect of both candidates, their military record. Â Â You can call bush a vietnam war dodger all you want. Â He still completed his necessary time. We do not even know the full story on this. Â Sure, John Kerry may be a war hero too. Â Noone is debating that. There is more to these candidates than their military past. Bush is still a better man to lead the country.

Build your own private army with ebay!

Hey they just talked about that BlueAngel jet from Ebay on the news a few hours ago.
  7. I know I posted an idea like this in another thread. But I rethought it and thought it would make an excellent multiplayer game. It is basically identical to my other dynamic campaign, only meant for multiplayer. Instead of fighting the computer, you would be fighting another player online. This would be MUCH more interesting. I have an idea as how to design a multiplayer campaign. The player would have to act as both General, Soldier, and basically the general designer of his own campaign. Basically at the beginning of the game, the player would be informed as to how many total troops, tanks, choppers, crew, special operations units, boats, and other vehicles he has available for total for the entire campaign, and where on the island(or wherever) they are positioned. And a figure of how many units the enemy player has and where on the island they are. Before the first mission, the player would have to decide what to do first. He would most likely spot the closest and most vulnerable, or perhaps most valuable enemy defense and decide how to attack it. He would have to determine how much of his forces(troops, tanks etc) to send in and in a large scale .. what troop/tank/ chopper formation. That meaning where will the different platoons attack from, from where and when will the tanks and choppers strike. Once all the major planning for the mission is complete, the player would then actually start the mission. In the mission, the player would have the opportunity to play one of the squad leaders in the battle. How well the mission goes would depend on how well he planned it out and how well the opposing player had his defenses set up at that base. Did he use choppers? Are there enemy Anti Air systems in the area? After that mission, he would recieve 2 mission complete reports. One for the player as the soldier who was fighting, and one for player as the general who planned out the mission. This would be something like how many of his troops died, how many are left in the area, how many enemies were killed. He would also be updated if during the mission YOU played the enemy already attacked another base of yours. Then the player would plan out what he wants to do next. Where to move more troops, again like before the first mission. In the end it would be up to each player to use what he has wisely to acheive the objective and win the game. Basically this would work like a turn based strategy game, something like "Lords of the realm". But using a large zoomable map to plan out the "mission" portions of the game where the action actually take place. Nothing happens except for during the missions when the player is actually out in the field. Each player would actually have to determine how to react to eachothers actions. Each player would plan out it's own actions during the same time the other player is planning out his own. I think this form of a game would have alot of possibility. The actual missions would still be from the same perspective as OPF is now. You would play as the same squad leader or tank/chopper man as you can now. But you would have the opportunity to plan out the whole campaign and how and where you want to attack, and using which forces. When players want to leave for the time being, they could save the game at its current position and later come back and continue and a prearranged time. What do you all think? I think this would be loads of fun if someone could make a mod of this type.

An idea for a new style of multiplay!!!

Not a SINGLE response. Maybe I should have posted this in OFFTOPIC? Noone really seems to look in here.

This sounds like the beginning of a project! Any experienced modders want to help make this vision become reality? Anyone else interested in seeing this idea become a real playable game? Voice your opinion.

Yeah, I actually thought about the on the fly commanding thing. There should be some sort of command screen you can switch to(just like pressing map) to let you make ingame commands to react to things happening during gameplay. I should have added that to my original post but forgot.

An idea for a new style of multiplay!!!

Well I do suppose 3 players could do it too. Â After all, there are Russians, Americans, and the Resistence. Â But that should only be for experienced players. Anyhow, this could be very exciting. Â I mean you are planning attacks against another player opponent, and he would be planning the same against you at the same time. Â Â You would have to plan out your attacks and think about your defences at the same time. Â Remember, both sides have a limited amount of troops, air, armor etc.. Â Â If you decide to ignore large scale strategies and just go jump in a chopper, you could risk getting shot down by well placed AA by the enemy AND lose several(hundreds) of units because your opponent planned out a large scale coordinated assault using many tanks, air, and infantry to spearhead a few of your main bases that you did not have units set up defensively. Â Therfore by completely wasting a precious turn you are now at a huge disadvantage. Also remember, you do not always know where the opponent has his bases and units set up. Â Both sides will have to do reconnaisance at the beginning of the game to know where the enemy is located. Â You could use spec ops for this, or use choppers/planes to do recon, or you could even zip around in a jeep to find them. Â In the mean time your other units could be following your orders such as moving into defensive formations or setting up different bases.

    Bullet life-time

This thread got me wondering. If you fired a shot straight up in the air, will it eventually come down and hit the ground? Someone should test this. Maybe by creating a coating thatcovers the ground of the whole island that has a damage model. So when it gets hit, you could find out how long it took and where. I imagine some people mastering this and hitting people who are hiding behind buildings or over hills with a hail of bullets falling out of the sky in Multiplayer games.

    I have a cool idea!

Howabout we can replay the original CWC campaign, and SP missions, but from a different characters perspective? Like when you create your own mission in the mission editor, and you can play any character you choose to be "player". Maybe if there was a way to go into each mission and set player as someone else. Like in the "undercover" mission where you have to drive through Russian check points you could play as the Resistence leader instead of Armstrong. I can think of plenty of different "small roles" that I would love to play in some of these big missions where you don't really even notice them. Like in "return to eden" it would be cool if you could actually play as one of the chopper pilots who has to move in and take out all the armor. Or to even play as a Russian officer defending the airstrip. Wouln't that be cool? Is there a way of doing this?

Tank command does not make semse

Maybe you are not being careful enough. Â You have to target the tank directly that you want him to fire on. Â That will make a square on the target. Â When he moves his gun turret onto the target and is ready to fire the square will also become a diamond. Â At that point it means that the gunner thinks his aim is on the object you had him target. Â Be sure to visually inspect the target to ensure that the diamond/square is actually on your target, then order him to fire. Â He will fire and the shell will land on the dot in the middle of the diamond. Make sure that there is a shell loaded when you ask him to fire or he will say "cannot fire". If you click to choose a target twice you may "unmake" the target so make sure you click only once on the target.

    Mountain warfare

Ok, I have been thinking about aspects of gameplay. It would be very cool if they added "mountain troops" You could climb mountains. You could even use climbing gear to move up 90 degree stone walls along the sides of mountains. Like rappelling. I've heard stories of Mountain troops during WW2 who managed to succesfully attack and destroy enemy positions while moving up a 90 degree vertical rock face while like hundreds of feet above the ground. That would be cool, wouln't it? Imagine climbing but a vertical wall on the face of a mountain hundreds of yards up. Below you trees look small. You see enemy troops camped out on a nearby mountain only a few hundred feet away. Your squad goes to action swinging and rappelling across the rock face firing down onto the enemy positions. The enemy is completely surprised and is quickly defeated with little resistense. All while on climbing up a mountain to an objective. This is an aspect of warfare that most games miss. Almost all game makers are interested in urban warfare, or jungles. Because of OPFs open gameplay and large environments it would be a perfect game to introduce warfare up in the mountains. It would add a new dimension of gameplay. Defending an attack that is coming from 50 yards above your head, or clearing a cave along a mountain path. Or even using bonoculars to scout out enemy tanks several miles away while hanging hundreds of yards above the ground. Mountain warfare is an intriguing aspect of warfare that most games do not touch. But OPF's engine would be perfect to accomodate it with its huge areas.

    Incursion how to win ?

Why don't you play the mission the way it is meant to be played? Go in and steal the docs without firing a shot or blowing anything up. It can be done, but you must be very stealthy and sneaky.
