IMO, it would be better to do this kind of thing on a weekend.  A lot of us here are from very different timezones, so a weekend would allow maximum flexibility for scheduling something like this. I might make some fun maps if I can get back into the groove of OFP scripting, I'll let everyone duke it out and I'll be cooking steaks over a fire in the highlands  I agree. Sunday would be a better day for the game, it is during the weekend and most people stay home on Sunday. So unless anyone else has any objections, Sunday it is. Does anyone here know how to contact this blackdog fellow? Sounds like he is a real legend around here.

Ok, Tuesdays or Sundays sound good to me, either one. Both are days where one is not that busy. As for the time. I am thinking about late in the evening. That is a time most people should be able to play. So how about next tuesday or this coming sunday with a starting time of about 9-10 pm? What do you all think about that? Whoever hosts the server should probably have an excellent connection. I have very good connections too. I normally have like 20-50 pings in games of Americas Army, and am told that I have good pings from other players. I live in Maryland, US. On the eastcoast. I have Comcast CABLE internet. But the only problem is I don't know a thing about hosting ANYTHING. Maybe someone else can do it? Shrike? Or I could do it for the first time if someone could explain to me how. Ideas?

Joining a squad and what I am suggesting are two COMPLETELY different things. A squad is good for organized tactical coop gameplay. I just think it would be great to have a game about once a week with all your fellow forum regulars. That's all.

I have been trying to find good coop games on OPF. And I cannot find any. Can anyone help me? They are ALL CTF or hold the city. I WANT REALISM!! That is why I even play OPF in the first place.

Yes, that is good. I agree that soldiers need to rely on their brains and basic combat skills honed to a finely tuned thing. Not on gadgets. Can I quote your post in the future?

The only aspect of Musharaf being killed that doesn't make me feel joy is that Pakistan would be thrown into chaos - which is scary when thinking of it's nuclear capacity and the ongoing conflict with India. Yes it is ironic. But then again what do you expect? They are devout terrorists. You could save their lives one day and then have a disagreement with them about islam the next day and they will kill you. And yes, if Pakistan were thrown into chaos and islamists got their hands on pakistans nukes, I would expect a nuclear war very soon after.

Does the French Foreign Legion focus more on high tech technology for combat or on training? Because I think the US army likes technology alot.

Not to mention CQB modes. I would like to see for example a group of Black Ops "Stack up" near a door way to a building and then to a "breach" and fan out(clear the fatal funnel) inside to cover their assigned "slices of pie".
