This could be the first political correct mod for a war game "Sir the rebels are attacking, but I'm sure they have their reasons" Honestly it's a good idea.

Unless you make it an our side is good and always right Vs. that side bad and always wrong. I look at it as a very interesting add-on and would greatly enjoy playing as both IDF and opposing groups. Nobody yelled when OFP was primarily a USA Vs USSR game. I'm puzzled by how people think anything made with the middle east conflict in mind is a huge political statement but killing Russians based on the Cold War stereo type is fine. It's a game and just a game. Nothing more nothing less. Don't let things bother you so much. If some facless person doesn't agree with you who cares. Just shake your head, knock back a couple of beers and go watch TV ;-)

I'm with the Avon Lady. I say Syrians and the Lebanese that would fit the 1985 timeline. But if it's just going to be a whatever mod then Egypt, Palestinians, and many other groups too many to list. For realism just be sure to add a lot of saboteur missions for the opposing force and suicide bombings

BIS, a tech question about user addons

Hey Avon I'm here. The only two add-ons that make my tank hud go away are Gunslingers editor upgrade and Kegetys objects. Even with all other unofficial add-ons removed. The second I put in Gunslingers or Kegetys objects (even separately) it goes away. I tried a clean install and even a windows registry cleaning but it doesn't fix it. I don't know anything about classes or anything. I'll leave that to you add-on guru's but if it would help I could give you my system specs.
