It looks fairly nice Stratton and things seem to be in order. RPT logs for the KA50: Warning Message: Animation source door not found in bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/ka50/ ka50: Rudder - unknown animation source rudder There are a few problems with the cockpit layout and the way things are positioned but other than that its very nice!

Looking forward to the M16/M4 pack - It was my favorite pack in ARMA and it will be in ARMA2. Damn I miss those Aimpoint M203s! I have one small request though. Would it be possible to have a silenced M16 Aimpoint? -
Graphics improvement? Less FPS? Its okay for you guys with top spec PCs but what about people like me (the majority) who cannot run ARMA at full?

I had an odd experience the other day in MP too. Just waiting for a co-op to start so I go and play a bit of Domination to bring back some ARMA1 memories. However, as per usual there is always one fool who has to spoil your fun. He connected, Spawned in, and started TKing. I saw this and ran away with him chasing me. Now as you may know, this type of people are not the most intelligent so I let him chase me to the ATC tower at the airbase and shut the door with me inside. He tries shooting it but cannot work out how to open it. The silly sod then goes up the ladder and into the top of the tower where I am waiting and he comes in the room. I then walk out, shut the door he came in from and walk away. By this I trapped him in the tower and he couldn't get out! He then got bored after not being able to escape and disconnected. The moral of the story: Team killers are not the brightest of people and it is really easy to outwit them! -

Now that is a good idea DaSquade. Make the scripts modular/selectable. That would no doubt broaden the scope of the mod as it would make it more appealable to those who don't want all the full realism things but want certain things such as weapon resting or ballistic values -

Those ships don't float. They hover over the water. And yes there are more important issues. People get terrible issues such as discolouration which makes it look like psychedelia. The campaign was included for a reason - it adds a interesting way for people to get used to the game controls in a safe and noob bashing free environment and adds a storyline. Some people even see campaigns as an interactive novel! So to BIS - work on the gameplay and performance issues first, and then try and implement a few more realism features. Even the small ones would make a differance like Chaff/Flare/ECM countermeasure systems. Petition Signed -

So the big question is: How to get it to work in MP with SOM. Ive got the same thing. They aim but do not fire, and when I get in one of the guns they have no ammo in. I have this in the init section Its really odd. Any ideas on a work around? -
Well, if you play with the AI on extreme it is as hard as it is against other people. They will outsmart you, outflank you, and use real tactics. Ive seen em breach properly and bound. The best example is when the fire team I was in g were supporting and holding the flank of the other team, and a platoon sized force came over the hill on our left and forced us to take cover in a barn. We took out half of them but the fire became so instense we were crawling on the floor below the windows. Because they couldn't move us, more reinforements turned up and they started blasting through the walls with Machine Guns and killed the whole fire team.

I wouldn't have thought so Beita. Headspace: Ive managed to get the basics now. Ive gotten the Arty to fire via a Radio Trigger upon a target named "target", but I dont know how to get it to target a location clicked on the map, and Im also wondering how I can get the Strike to come available again after 5 minuntes. -

Well at the moment ArmA2 is stuffed full of noobs who are most likley CoD4 players. After a while they will find it boring and go away. It is really bad at the moment. I was playing on a server and it got so bad that we had to hide the aircraft from the public and they had to ask to use em. Its chaos at the moment but it will die down. Hopefully =S -

Hi, After looking at all the stuff to do with the Arty, I can't make heads or tails of it (Im a scripting noob). Im looking to have say 8 M119s at a FOB give arty support. I would then like to have the target designated via a map click and then fire without all the SOM stuff. Could someone please post instructions rarther than an example missions as I would like to do it and learn myself. Thanks, Hellfire -
Erm...Ive built my own PC for xmas so I could be of some small help. Your better off with someone else though! Anyway, back on topic. The only real reason im hanging onto my PS3 is because of ArmA2. I will definatly be buying it for PC and PS3 if I can. Like someone said earlier, if it doesn't come out for PS3 I'll be forced to buy the next best thing: OFP2...think about it BIS...more PROFIT...POPULARITY...REPEAT SALES...it all makes sense...I can point out the benefits, but its up to YOU to decide.
