    Arma fails to initiate.

Well, thanks ahead of time for anyone who reads this, for I know by the 120 pages of this particular part of the forum that you guys have a great deal of patience for all the various bugs, repeats or not repeats =]. I had just done a system restore, prior to installing ArmA. Direct2Play Download version. I installed it, Patched it to 1.08 using the correct patch, Played it for a bit, and crashed out due to some video issues [probably related to DirectX, as I have the latest video drivers (Nvidia 94.xx)]. After trying to update DirectX, the web setup told me I had the latest version installed. (Not sure which revision of 9.c But installing manually the latest revision is too complicated for my limited knowledge and I'd likely bork it). My system specifications are as follows: AMD Athlon X2 4400 + @ All Stock 2 GB OCZ Gold PC 4000 Ram 2 x 256mb EvGA 7800GT in SLi. ASUS A8NSLI-32 Motherboard I was running the game comfortably at some fairly high settings. My issue currently, is this. (And to note, I've tried BF2, CoH, CoD 2, The Sims 2, Civ IV Age of Empires 3, STALKER, and various other games on this configuration and all of them are fine.) I've also tried reinstalling and patching ArmA. My issue is when I click upon the shortcut on my desktop. I receive an error that says: "The instruction at "0x00d223d0" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The momory could not be "read". I enjoy ArmA very much and wish that there is a simple solution to this problem. I'm then prompted to click OK or to click Cancel. If you guys would think any additional information could help solve this problem, please ask and I'll find it =]. I was going to include a DxDiag report, but seeing as the error appears memory related, I didn't include it.
